"Zombies" have been plaguing the environs of the Camon church for some days now; this unusual code infection was bad enough, but it has just manifested itself in a vastly more powerful incarnation. This creature took the combined efforts of many operatives to destroy, and spawned hordes of ravenous monsters in its wake--a novel, and amusingly macabre scene.
Same applies, awesome event, incorrect documentation. Surely replacing [6.1.4] with [Halloween Non-Canon] isn't too much to ask?
Yes fun event
Sorry if it seems that way, just its already been stated the zombies and halloween festivities are non-canon. I simply have concern for any misconception around presenting them as such. Espiecally with the inclusion of actual canon events during the period too.
Thing is...the zombies are explainable in the Matrix, the other stuff really isn't. I've personally viewed the zombies as somewhat canonical. Especially considering they bothered to put descriptions in their details which leads you to believe something is going on.
But also, if you hadn't noticed, there have been cases of LESIG playing events off of the zombies, and as far as I know, stuff LESIG does is supposed to be considered part of the story.
Also...the zombie's description said he was someone who accidentally became infused with a cheat code which resulted in the mutation into the zombie. Judging from that...he wasn't an ordinary zombie.
Who knows? Maybe all the corruption Anome has caused has somehow manifested itself as the zombie mess? Maybe we'll never know, but it's certainly possible...
