Start -> Run -> command.com
Then type regedit. That usually opens it up.

Tanque101... I'd avoided those fixes because there are some anti-virus solutions that modify things so that that fix actually prevents the computer from booting. I've seen them cause the loss of a whole drive.
Glad it's fixed.
