hmm, so I got to thinking after the movie that the ending for The Dark Knight really leaves a good opening for the next movie to be Batman Vs Superman. I read on an interview a few months ago on IGN.com that Bale is now more open to the idea of doing a cross over movie, specifically the Batman Vs Superman if its handled correctly. Since the police and Batman has painted Batman as a villian for killing the cops and people, Superman thinks that Batman is out of control and needs to be taken into custody. And so begins the Batman Vs Superman movie.
Best magic trick ever.
Great movie. I will definetly be seeing this one again. The score to the movie is great too.
2 Hours and 32 minutes of just the movie itself (not including the trailers) is NOT LONG enough for this movie. NEED MOAR!!!

well the question seems now how much will Dark Knight Crush Spidermans 3 Box office record? it set the highest midnight Record at 18.5 Million record and that doesnt count the 3 am and 6 am showings that most theaters have
30% of all the cities in America are reporting that they are sold out for the entire weekend.
If that doesn't tell you how epic this movie is nothing will.

Its great. And yeah iMax, I think that it would be the best course of action to take realistically due to Heath's death too. Have the Batman Vs Superman with like ummm, Brainiac and maybe the Riddler (or something along those lines, a super powered villian for Super-Man to actually fight) pulling the strings from behind the scenes. And then have the next 'solo' Batman film have Two-Face and the recasted Joker as the villians (and probably another villian too, I would really like to see what Nolan would do with the Riddler)
I saw the movie at 9:30am and it was packed! I 've never seen anything like it. I thought the movie was amazing, I would be MORE THAN upset if Heath Ledger DIDN'T win the oscar for his role as the Joker. Just watching the Joker in this movie gave me chills down my spine, it was almost disturbing.
I think that there is going to be a 3rd film, Nolan wouldn't leave the movie with such a cliffhanger like that and having it BEG for a 3rd film. Afterall, it is more of a cliffhanger ending than the first one. Also, I don't think that the Joker should be recasted. For one, it would be insulting (in my opinion) to Heath Ledger. And Two...I don't think it's possible to find ANYONE who could play that part as well as he did, it would be a waste of time to even try, I think Ledger's legacy as being the Joker should remain as it is now.
Christopher Nolan is by far, one of the best directors in the business right now, and I would say, one of the best in cinema history. If you haven't seen his other films I STRONGLY suggest watching them. All of them are dark, and go very deep into the human psyche, specifically personal identity. Afterall, this new series of batman movies could have been just another corny superhero rehash of the old films. INSTEAD, Nolan has given us an EXTREMELY well developed, SUPERBLY filmed movie that not only entertains but also makes those watching think. Because be honest, does anyone really know who they really are? Of course not, and Nolan knows this and brings this to light.
I loved every moment of this movie, my only problem is that I have to wait to see if there is another!
