Before anyone takes this as flaming. I am giving the warning that this is Constructive Criticism. I feel like through the looking glass is supposed to be a few tidbits about the future of the Matrix Online and or projects currently being worked on. Now it is just a story summary and random news. I understand that Raj you are new but I feel like Rarebit should help you out and discuss things relevant to MxO's future. Just my thoughts EC

((Walrus' were more detailed as he worked both sides of the office (I think anyway) Raijinn doesn't so cant give the same amount of info Walrus did but he can bring us new stuff, he has said that he isn't re-creating OSOTLG, this is new))
((And Rarebit, you made the Merovingian sound really evil in that summary..... oh, hang on >.> )

I've explained this a few times -- this isn't the same article as the previous "Other Side". This is a more community centric article that will have some dev goodies here and there when I hear word of something but it won't be on a week to week basis. The problem I think most people are having is the fact that the article *IS* different and again I've made it rather clear that it *WILL* be a different article so it is what it is. I'm all for giving out as much dev info as possible but the simple fact is that information isn't going to come about every week. Sorry folks.

Raijinn's explanation is all well and good but what gets me is the thread is still "Through the Looking Glass". It should be our window into the MxO team's offices, a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes. Many of us like to hear about events amongst the cubicles of the real and without that sort of information the TtLG is just a fancy synopsis. We click over here every week looking for more than just a blurb because, for the most part, we can get that sort of information ourselves. The TtLG doesn't have to be jammed with Development information, we can ask Rarebit for that, but it does have to cover issues relevant to the Community. Take the opportunity to address issues that have been raised on the forums. Tell us what SOE is doing and how it affects MxO. Keep us up to date on things like Launchpad 2 and Free Trials. There's a lot of questions being asked Raijinn and we're looking to you for the answers. Yes, TtLG is not the OSotLG, it's different, but a number of our expectations are going to remain the same no matter what you call it.

Dear Raijinn, Why did you put the Folding@Home thing into the Looking Glass? I see this is strictly irrelevant information which should not have even be in there. It would be cool if you posted a thread announcement, but to use it to fill up your article is just bad writing skills. I thought as CRM you would get information, instead of going to Walrus for it. I believe that you should wait to post news in the Looking Glass, until you have something relavent to say. We can wait a few weeks, which we have done before with Walrus to get a good Looking Glass. To the person who will flame me: This isn't flaming, it's just my opinion. That is why Broadcast Depth is here. It's not all about butt kissing .

You do have access to anything on the forums, so although I don't necessarily think the Folding thing belongs in here, it is something the community is talking about. However, we had a major issue with LESIG this past week that caused 2 thread to be moved to a "holding tank," and I'm sure you've read parts of these. Just making a little comment on this, whether it's that useful comments are being used, or that people need to watch the flames in those threads, is still showing you are paying attention to the community.

YES, the looking glasses are just as much about confronting community issues as they are about random blurbage. PM urging this re-sent.
