Anything that the proof seems to lead towards? Who do you think is pulling the strings? Or maybe you have it all figured out? Post your (rediculous as they may be) theories about the event here.

Blue pants? Blue-ish hair? Masks? "Sleepwalkers"? Does one really have to wonder who's pulling the strings? Not quite an effective way to rally people to the cypherite cause methinks. I'm really curious to see how it goes though.

Nice sneaky way to proliferate new buffed clothes too...lol.

Heh, I didn't actually get the "Sleepwalkers" part until now. Yeah, I do believe it is the work of the Cypherites. How they got the Matrix simulation to give us a blue sky is another thing though. The Machines would be the only ones to have that power. And, to my knowledge, the Machines are disowing the Cypherites. Am I wrong?

What I want to know is what they are planning on doing at those concerts.

My idea is it starts with mass pvp. And I mean MASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Old players may remeber a long time ago there was major pvp in the streets, one of the first events if I'm not mistaken. This will be 100x bigger (minus the fact that there are thousands less players now (thanks devs)). The Wachowskis said thhe first year would be about the truce and what people do to wreck it. They never said it, but they hinted that the truce will end soon afterwords. Why not at the concert? But not only that. There will be a developtment with Neo's revival. Also, Morpheus will reveal hes actualy not dead.

And pixies will fly with butterflies and carry us to a rainbow clowd where they serve all the hard liquor someone who knows its not real would want.

I think its pretty obvious that the devs are trying to start a band and they have chosen this charade of an event to launch their music career.

But where they get the muscle to arrange such a thing is the big mystery, If it is true then possibly another key link in the Cypherite chain (someone with great influence in the matrix) might be revealed.....

At this point it is a little hard to tell. However the machines aren't the only ones capable of manipulating the sky. Also considering how, kind of "childish" the clothes look, there might be a possibility that Sauti (the little girl the oracle is looking after) could be linked to the events. Of course the idea that a little girl is leading a mass amount of people to attack us all is a little funny. It just seems the way the sky looks right now has a similarity to the sky she made for Neo.

Theres a possibility that there is some other rogue group out there that might be working with Sauti. A group perhaps close to the ideals of E Pluribus Neo.

I'm gonna laugh if during the week we start finding chocolate chip cookies.

Hmm.... they're wearing masks, blue clothes, and they are called "Sleep"walkers... sounds like typical Cypherites on the outside, but no, typical Cypherites they are not. Speak like Yoda just did I. :smileyvery-happy:

Anyway, they aren't with the normal Cypherite group. They have attacked not only our operatives, but also our liason and her crew. That there is enough to prove that they hold no alliegence to Veil or Cryptos and are just giving us that are loyal to the real cause alot of unneeded attention.

Seems at the moment they are all just really random and aggresive attacks. They just attack out of nowhere without any reference to their cause or anything. Seeing as how they are also attacking all organizations points to the possibility that there is a new group who is against everything that matrix is. Wonder if somehow the assassin or commandos might have something to do with it. The commados do seem to have the numbers and fire power to pull something like this off. Although I doubt they would dress so "brightly" to try and take over the matrix.

It's a good idea to get a list of all the parks with the stages setup, as we'll probably have to be visiting all of them, like that Archivist chase thingy event.

There are rumors of forced reinsertions by the Cypherites. I think the Sleepwalkers are redpills who have been forcibly reinserted.

If that were so, they'd be bluepills with no memory of the Matrix or the Real. Also, the description of the Sleepwalkers when you right-click 'em states they are redpills.

Hmm... this one should be obvious. Notice that the Sleepwalkers began running around about the same time I earned my Virulent status.

So... my theory is that when Austrian is asleep, he sleep walks, jacks in, and starts spreading the "Austrian Virus"- an off shoot of the Smith Virus.

What happens when someone is infected with the Austrian Virus? Well, it's a little different than the Smith Virus for one thing. Instead of becoming an exact copy of the original Virulent, victims of the Austrian Virus acquire a terrible fashion sense and a cheasy accent. If you thought the infected Redpills were annoying for ambushing you while coding, just wait until they become more talkative.
