Hi, coppertop here . I was wondering if today(thursday) is server downtime day?

Indeed, it is.  Normally early Thursdays the servers go down for a bit.  I'm not sure how long it stays down because I'm always at work during that period. :\

I usually just hit refresh about 20 billion times and they come back up

It looks like we had a server restart to install some OS updates on those machines. It sounds like we might have another restart overnight tonight, although I think this time we might actually get some sort of notice posted if it's going to happen.

EDIT/Update: Ah, sounds like we probably won't be scheduling another one this week.
