Update problem

The launcher did updated correctly , it just stoped at " scaning rezmap.ltb" and stucked there.

I have spent about 5 hours on reinstalling my system and reinstalling the game, but it still did work at all..........

Firstly, when the launcher loads, press the full system check before pressing accept which will check the launcher is ok.

Then press accept, type in your username and password and press full system check again and press login and see if that makes any difference.

If it doesn't, go to the MxO directory and there should be 2 folders which begin with an _. Try moving them out of the MxO folder and this will remove all the update files. Then login again with the full system check on and see if that will update for you. SMILEY

I did the first step, the launcher stopped at " scanning xprt.dll" and stucked there.....


Then I tried  the second step, but there's no folder beginning wih "an_" SMILEY

hmmm, looks like your on a uni network looking from your DNS info.

If thats so it could be your uni blocking the port, however I would have thought that if that were the case the problem would occur before it started scanning.

I would follow the steps in this thread, How to post your system/network information, you'll have to split it up into multiple posts because of the character limit and probably wait for TSR-RonC to come back on monday.

You could also try emailing your uni's IT guys and seeing if they can help you out by unblocking the ports, but again I doubt they work on sundays either.

Unless someone else can think of any anything I'm stumped.
