Aww, Phantom's last screen had Narcisia in it.  She used to be my Captain, first decent crew I was apart of.  Then she disapeared off the face of the Earth without a word to anyone.

...you were at the impromptu party that happened on my second day in the game. I remember it well, I had just joined up with GoL, and we met at Mara NE (which has now been changed to Mara NW). Then PhaedrusShaide and Jezabell started dancing, and the entire faction eventually joined in. Someone (not sure who) whispered an Awakened Radio DJ, and next thing you know, we had an entire crowd in that little area around the hardline, just dancing and having a good time. Even had an "impress Mav" contest, lol.

...you remember Stupidfly and how much people hated him...:smileyvery-happy:.

When did Machines ever refuse to flag?  Oh you must be talking about Gothique's "Machines" faction and not the entire organizations.  LOL!! :robottongue:

Am I supposed to apologize now?  I thought we were reminiscing?  How about this?  You were on Method if you remember newbies believing that Gothique was the leader of the entire Machine organization.  Convo went something like this:

Noob: Wow it's Gothique

Gothi: Hello hun

Noob: I have heard so much about you.  It is an honor!

Gothi: I hope you heard good things and if you did they are all true.  If you didn't they are all lies!

Noob: I heard you are the leader of the Machines, is that true?

Gothi: Well yes, yes I am the leader of the "Machines."

*Noob kisses Gothique's ring*

LMAO!  Yeah it went something like that.  Technically she was correct.

I still love Gothi!  :smileytongue:

Ah the good old days when PvP first erupted in Method after live.  /tear

Back then we had at least 30 TC members at any given time online.  We had grinded extremely hard and had very high level members.  Some had even hit 50 already (Nanohaxial, JacobiB, Upstream etc.).  The rest of us were already in our 40s or high 30s.  If I remember right, Jacobib discovered the /pvp command one night.  We were all standing around and the flags started coming up.  Before we knew it, PvP had erupted in Mara.

Thanks to all our rumbles with RIP, Furious Angels and Digital Army during Beta in 01, we did really well.  We united with our fellow machinsts and we dominated Mara.  Eventually others in the other orgs reached 50 and strategies formed.  We fell to Zion and the Mervs.  The cycle began.

There were a few nights when we would flag up and stand on the bridge.  Sneaker was famous for declaring the area under machinist protection and any hostilities would be dealt with.

Good times.

I refuse to concede that we fell to Zion or the Mervs.  More like we fell to WoW and sheer boredom of the game, with most of our PvPers leaving and us rebuilding.  We never retreat, we just advance in a different direction.  However the TC zerg is back.  Yep when 8 TC people start PvPing Zion calls us a Zerg.  LOL!
