I'm convinced that balistic accuracy has no effect when you
are interlocked. If balistic accuracy maters then why do riflemen (or
at lest the ones i've fought) suck when you IL them? You'd think if
balistic accuracy counted both ways then riflemen would be good no
matter what. And if riflemen use balistic accuracy in IL, then what
stops a MA from using balistic accuracy in IL aswell?

In this
new combat system it's either good at one thing bad at everything else,
or kinda meh at everything. Ex: Setting your stats to be good at IL
would make you a bad hacker and MKT, and so on.

I know on the
old combat system everyone as convinced that RCT was the thing for
gunmen while IL'd, but when i put on MCT pants my rolls went up.

Does anyone have any concrete proof one way or the other?

Both melee and ballistic attributes apply in interlock but I don’t think they can be activated at the same time because you can only use one style at a time. MA and gunmen abilities are activated separately for balance that’s why you can’t have hyper block and dodge on together.

Rifleman generaly "suck" in interlock, as you say, because they don't have that many abilities that work within the confines of interlock, like say, a duelist does. Most of their abilities are outside of interlock, which is a severe hamper on them for close quarters fighting.

It's why when I see a rifler, my first objective is to break their shield and interlock them. Plain and simple. They are at a severe disadvantage there, but they also have abilities that get them out of interlock to.

there ballistic accuacy is high so they can hit more often think about that you would want a sniper that couldnt snipe? and sniper rifles and good for close combat in anyfield anywho they suck in IL too because they have a lower defense buffs all there stuff is for Free Fire they are a support roll the gunners/MAs run in (aka the grunts) while the sniper picks off the weak and fleeing

Hey never underestimate a rifleman in combat, I can hit most times with my load and I usually wait till I get a staggered use 3 round blast then use that ability that removes u from combat it's a brilliant way to kill ppl but just watch the fact your defence ain't to gr8 so keep an eye out for expert rifleman RAWR

Generally, no, Rifles aren't bad in Interlock, however, relying on getting staggered is not a surefire thing, then hoping your rifle butt smash, I believe that's what it's called, will get tham rigth afterwards.

Because of the weakness of rifles in interlock, poor defense, you tend to have a ahrder time winning initiatives in interlock.
