lvl10 MA seeking advice.

hey guys



I just reached level 10 operative/MA/Kung Fu, and I need some advice
concerning loaded abilities. I usually can handle pvp's with 1 or two
levels higher, but there are times when even 10 or 9 level players kill
me pretty much easily. My storage is full so I guess there's something



Minus the standart abilities (operative, hypersprint/jump etc) I
currently have the following loaded, all of them are upgraded to my
level:



Useable abilities/moves: Cheap Shot, Evade Combat, Body Shot, Overhead Smash, Intensify Damage, Guard Breaker

Unuseable abilities: Detect Vulnerability, Combat Toughness, Firearms skill, MA prowess, MA expertise, Multifighting



I'm not interested in owning on both ranged and meele combat, I know MA
is useful only in meele, I just would like to be able to "stand" in
ranged combat until I manage to interlock my opponents.



In that case, what you think I should remove or add?

For example, are Consistent Technique/Empty mind/Ignore Pain worth over any abilities I have loaded?

ok first keep consistant tech but get Precise blows and use it to gain an advantage plus it gives u cool glowing fists of dooooooom!


second make sure ur attribs are pointed towards perception, this helps out ur stats for an ma and increases ur attack rolls


thirdly, retrete its an option even if u dont like it but it goes by the old saying that u can live to fight another day, and keep ur loot and equipment in good shape :smileywink:

perception and vitality that is Shadow, but pil eon the attributes
there, i agree witht he precise blow until you get further into the MA
trees, it severly reduces your chances of getting the opponent into a
'state' like dazed or staggered, and these are required for quite a few
of the better MA special abilities, so lose it at about when you get to
dim-strike if you are doing kung fu, ki charged punch if you are diong
karate and (i think) maki-otoshi if you are doing aikido, o and by lvl
30 lose consistent technique, it actually lowers your rolls by that
level, it keeps them consisten, but lower, so it works out as a
disadvantage >_<



however i totally agree with the retreat policy SMILEY

You should use energised attacks NOT precise blow.. energised gives you a far better chance. ANd it doesnt matter about getting them into states as there are no special state moves at your current level.

Use cheap shot, intensify damage (as this improves your ranged damage) keep hyper sprint on and hyper jump if you have it.
and for ranged combat, you want to focus on FOCUS.. go for focus and perception. (if you want to become skilled in ranged then i woul put more points on FOCUS as you can make up perception from buffed clothes)

also if you look at ur opponent and if he all of the sudden had green codes around him/her chances are he/she took a tactic booster.. also not sure if this was already covered but try to get ur hands on a pair of +9 mct pants, defiled gloves, and sure foot sneakers adds to ur perception...
