I have heard many thoughtless tongues accuse my dear ally and confederate, the General, of irrational behavior, of blatant stupidity, of a tragic overabundance of--eh, what is that charming phrase--"pig-headedness."
To those who say such ungenerous things, I reply that, in my experience, the General has shown himself to be an eminently reasonable man. He has made every effort to cooperate while in the most grievous of circumstances. Par exemple, he has willingly given us the use of his program that transfers his soldiers between the two worlds, as he realizes that with the use of this tool, it is in our power to save the lives of his loyal men.
Is this the act of an irrational being, mes amis? Certainement pas. Monsieur le Général follows the course dictated by his instincts of true leadership, for which I salute him.
Au revoir,
The Merovingian
((Heh, I didn't realize those guys were still loyal to the machines. Sweet!))
((This LE post ROCKS!! I love how it is storyboarded and cinematic in its shots and viewpoints.
Most of the other LE posts are simply recaps or summaries, but this was a real story, and it was great! Even the players get a really good treatment in seeming to be actual story characters, rather than 'groupies' or something [to the members of Consequence and the Machinists, well played!] I hope to see more of this style in the future!
Oh, and shoutout to Lone010 for reppin the EPN! "**** Exile." lol))
Although the nature of Ookami's incursion into 01 was not understood at the time, myself and the other Machine operatives were readily available and were dispatched to 01 quickly to protect the construct from any plans she may have had at the time. Her presence in 01 turned out not as discreet as the Merovingian had hoped and her escape was... unfortunate...
I believe the Merovingian has a way of getting what he wants exactly.
Despite the small numbers of Mervs this was fun to take part in..
I think the Merovingian just pulled a fast one on the General....
Genny, remember the first thing you taught us with those flyers from your copters:
DO NOT TRUST THE FRENCHMAN!!
