Well, I've never liked Halo gameplay. I haven't played much multiplayer, though, but still. There's just something that evades me, which is probably that, what made it so popular. Meh

This should be interesting, basically a Tom Clancy Halo game from the sound of it, should be interesting...
still waiting for the Peter Jackson Halo game to be brought to light though.

Jackson was meant to be doing a Halo movie as far as im aware. But progress has been held back and held back for whatever reasons

Hollywood screenwriter, Stuart Beattie, who was responsible for Gears of War screenplay for New Line Cinema last year, has written the new Halo script. Word says that Microsoft like it and that they are discussing possible plans for it to be made.

Bettie beleives the old style Halo movie incaration is dead and is ready to release his vision, Halo: The Fall of Reach, a prequel to the first game.

I'm glad Beattie decided to base it off of Fall of Reach. Garland's script was utter crap.

While I don't completely agree, I do agree somewhat.  The level design in CE had some really terrible moments (The Library, anyone?) and I appreciate many of the game mechanic enhancements that have come along in the sequels, the one thing that CE has in spades that the others are lacking to the same degree is atmosphere.  The opening levels of CE are amazing atmosphere wise, and I would rather replay the jungle sections of CE than replay any particular sections of any other Halo game.
