I hit lvl 50 on syntax the exact same date as a pvp event over there. NO1 turned up. 1 planned for a month after, NO1 turned up. Point proven. Syntaxians don't care as much about pvp as they do about farming zombies rofl

The idea was good enough. To be true, i don't see the problem about being flagged all the time but when every post like this ends up in "This is Bruce's post" it fails big time.

I don't mind log in on my first character here, actually I already tried to start a faction here, but running all the missions again to get to level 50.... I don't mind giving it another try getting some faction mates over here, but can't promise. Did try it before but they have left the game now.

Saying that syntax is all ego players, well when it comes to server pride I guess the ego is no bigger here then it's on syntax or recursion.

And if Bruce want the last word here, be my guest but please stop to ruin it for the other players here, you are not their ambassador.

I agree, the idea is good.  However, the execution is fail.  You can't promote a server by talking down to the other servers.  It's just poor marketing.  As far as egofests are concerned, everyone is proud of their server (and should be!) and will defend it.  Calling someone out for that is just calling them human and making yourself no different than they themselves.

If you want to promote Vector, emphasize how it's different and how that can make your experience fun.  Don't try to say it's "better" because that's where the fail begins.  No server is "better", but all servers are different.  Embrace that and use that to pull people in.  Don't turn them away with senseless bravado.

Leveling up on Enumerator (and subsequently two more times on Vector) has been a great experience.  Not knowing what was waiting for me at a hardline or inbetween mission areas was a great rush and something I relay to others when I promote this server.  In turn I've brought quite a few to the darkside.

I probably have a combined level total of around 200, and rarely found this to be a problem. During events we had enough patchers (ahh the good old area heals that cured everyone) to offset the Howitzers/Jerks during events. And now there are no events so this isn't a problem.

Nobody has a problem with being flagged, the problem is alot of Vectorites attitudes towards us they make alts on our server every other month people like Macside come and smacktalk, ontop of that on this dying game what does Vector have to offer us that we dont have on our home server?

Vector has better player events, by far, and a better community too, in my opinion.  Also, you can't seriously think that running through Westview as a lowbie is anything like being chased by reds on Vector.  I have experienced both, and trust me, there's a huge difference.

I've experienced both also, it's called sarcasm and of course in your eyes the community is better, i mean you log onto Syntax put on your perpetual stand around for 10 minutes then logout, You dont even interact with others because alot of us got bored of you alongtime ago.

 

LOL, there are so many things wrong with this post, where to begin...

First of all, if you don't know how to use sarcasm correctly, then you shouldn't try to use it at all.

Second, when I log onto Syntax, I usually leave way before ten minutes have passed, more like one or two minutes.  It's kind of depressing to log onto Syntax.  Sometimes I see people PvPing, but there's usually more Zionites flagged than Mechs or Mervs, and I only enjoy PvP when it's challenging.

I can't believe you would pretend to know why I don't interact with others.  Actually, I do occasionally interact with people, just not usually in Mara.  And what makes you think that people got bored of me?  Is it because when I log on, people are usually just standing around like a bunch of zombies?  I'm pretty sure it's like that even when I'm not online.

I pretty much only stay logged on if there are people online for me to RP with, or if someone asks me to help with farming, or if there's a player event that looks fun (like this one or this one example).  Unfortunately, most of the player events on Syntax don't interest me at all.  Vector, on the other hand, has many player events that I enjoy.

Lastly, the reason why Vector's community is better is because you don't play over here.

I dont know how to use Sarcasm correctly? maybe you dont interpret properly.

I think people have been bored of you since your "I'm the greatest MA in history" stint.

And Syntax's community is better because you dont play there anymore

All funny from this side. I went there and tried it out but nope, absolutely nothing compared to here. Fair enough a bit faster, odd time a couple of more people. Who ever claimed to be a pvp god or claim that one server's pvp is better then the others, the answer is nobody.

In CR1 it was this server that pioneered the use of dodge ranged character builds and clothes that ultimately lead to the breaking of pve and pvp in the cr1 system. While vector was busy comming up with "logic cannon 2.0 and sneak". lol

In CR2 this server has regularly gone on to stomp the other two servers in every way possible dominating their tournaments and pvp. While vector came up with "logic cannon 2.0 and sneak".

How about you guys come here and learn how to do it right.

I dont see where SonofThree has stated he's the best PvPer on the game? nobody as an individual has stated it, Sonofthree has given his opinion on an entire server.

Mind, tbh i don't have a prob with you (or a vast majority of syntaxians, just the big mouths) so at anytime your on. i suppose i could go on my zion and help you out

Endo, lvl up or drop it.. cause tbh, we just don't care.. Each post is just to aggrivate others, i prefer to do that ingame.

Mindsweep, would be a good idea to level up if for nothing more then tournaments and events.

Zion courier event is alot of fun, Thereinwhitten promises a mini tourny every couple weeks, DE throws fight nights and smaller events in between the biggies, Titans coming through with another soon, and Insurgence has been giving it a go lately.

By all means keep Syntax, those are your people we all understand that, even the 2 guys at each others throats, but on your tax' down time maybe you can have some fun.
