Station launcher not patching is game up yet?

I cant get the stupid sony station launcher to patch the game and clicking on full scan and restarting doesnt do anything because the Matrix has to go through the sony launcher. Is the game back up yet and im having a problem or is it still not up yet?

Server status is still closed, but I patched fine without the station launcher, try that if you can.

Nope. Wont be up for another hour and thirty minutes or so. Went down at 4AM PST and is set for 3 hours long for a patch. so will be back up at 7AM PST hopefully and that is 10AM EST.

If you're specifically having a problem with Station Launcher patching the game, it generally down to the launcher not picking up that there's been a patch.

You have to get the launcher to do the full game scan for you, the way you do that is follows:

1. Login to the Station Launcher using whatever account an active subscription to MxO is on

2. Once logged in, click the small options tab at the top of the launcher.

3. In the menu down the left hand side, you'll see an option for The Matrix Online, click that so it brings up the preferences for MxO.

4. There will be an option there to delete scan cache (or something to the similar). Click that.

What that does is delete the normal scan file that station launcher saves for the game everytime you login with it to play. The Station Launcher will then scan your files and check them with that of the game servers. Once it's finished scanning it should then update the game for you.

I'm not 100% on why Station Launcher doesn't totally update to this game everytime as I know others (including myself) who use the launcher get this from time to time with MxO updates. Ah the joys of a beta software program!

I tried deleting the scan cache and it does a full scan but it doesnt update anything and the game wont launch after it gets to the starting dialogue box. It should patch by itself I dont need a headache.

Apart from what I suggested in your other thread (you shouldn't double up on threads for the same issue btw) I honestly can't give you any more information my end as I'm working today so I won't be able to check to see how mine's doing it until I go home later.

If you want help, firstly you need to actually make a post on the Support Forums area, as that's the only place where the Tech Support guys usually look for this sort of thing (or perhaps a friendly MOD can move this for you...)

I'd equally reccommend contacting the support team directly using one of the following:

Email, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Live Chat, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, excluding some holidays
Telephone: +1.858.537.0898, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, excluding most holidays

I'd say try and get through to TSR-JasonC, as he's been the main tech support guy for the Station Launcher, amongst others.
