Accounts are not being handled by devs, but by CS as it has been stated in a previous post. Ergo, you're deviating
I understand that it's more of a dream Cringeey, the thing is you've mentioned the restraints (i.e. budget, staff, etc.), which give it an aspect of seriousness , although barely anyone took those aspects into account, as you've asked.
I guess that if I were a dev, ignoring those restraints , (e.g. staff and budget), I'd recreate the Loading Area, the way it should be. Without elaborating too much, think of "guns, lots of guns". I'd create the different types of swords we've seen in PoN and create animations for new moves involving those items. I would recreate the hyper-jump to make it more "realistic" or if you wish, close in design as the one the rest of the Matrix Universe offers (Animatrix included). The minimum I'd do to change it is environment change on impact (see Flight of The Osiris, MxO cinematic 1.2 - Morphy)
I do agree with certain ideas that Shadow presented earlier here, one of them being the level cap increase , which I would do gradually (i.e. 50-60, 60-70 , etc), given the intense work and requirement of new content for those levels.
Also, I would reinstate the LET or some form of it and have at least 1 LE/month for every instance, to ensure the Live Events are not just a pointless meeting for the players.
There are alot more ideas i have and ones that I would accept from what players suggested, not to forget bug fixes and storyline course. I would have contests for player-made cinematics, which would start when the chapter ends and the winner movie being included in the next update as a cinematic of the previous chapter. Legal issues can be solved with good will and patience.
Even if some of these innovations you might not find as useful, I believe they would definetly captivate the players more, and increase the player base.
As the visions most of the people have posted here, this is just a dream, in which MxO had at least as many ressources as the successful MMOs out there today. In reality, all this would go to /dev/null.
