The truce is quite simply a falsehood. It is a fake peace that the masses follow blindly, and continue to believe holds value, while in the shadows, they continue to kill opposing operatives daily, and violate the very truce they seek to uphold. A cold war is still a war.

Understand that we do not regret the truce, we regret that the truce has been bastardized, by both Zion and the Machines. Something that should have been a foundation for the future of civilization has been turned into a safety blanket, and we've all found complacency with it. While Zion upholds the truce to the best of their being, Agents corroborate with Cypherites, those who are not bound by the truce, and free to kill without political turmoil ensuing. While Zion attempts to gain stronger defenses against a machine attack, they walk on eggshells, avoiding resolve of important issues, such as the remains of the One.

Morpheus sought the truth about Neo's condition, and in the process, was reprimanded several times by Zion for applying pressure to a truce that allegedly protected them, when all it really did was tie their hands. Zion spied on the activities of Morpheus. The Merovingian spied on the activities of Morpheus. The machines sought the death of Morpheus.

When he, in his wisdom, broke free on his own to pressure the machines into handing over the truth about Neo, he did so by freeing himself from all organizational ties, and planting code bombs in an attempt to awaken bluepills en masse. That kind of power failure would not go unnoticed, or ignored. It not only threatened the machines, it threatened everything that the Cypherites worked toward, from the positions, undercover in every organization. Morpheus forced the Cypherites to the surface, where they could be fought.

Through all of the turmoil, Morpheus was allegedly killed... something that almost every Zionist claims to want revenge for. The same day of Morpheus' apparent death, helicopters, belonging to The General, filled the skies of Mega City, dropping fliers that urged everyone “DO NOT TRUST THE FRENCHMAN.”

Since then, the Assassin has risen, and fallen.

The Cypherites have come into power.

Agent Gray has begun to lose his mind... albeit from an unseen evil.

And Niobe, sworn to her vengeance, has declared war against the Merovingian... now aided by the artillery and soldiers that The General continues to provide her. And what of us?

We fight for what we believe in, and our beliefs are complicated, but not far fetched. Those who do not understand, simply choose not to. As is their prerogative.

We believe Morpheus lives. We believe that Neo lives. We believe that the only entity with enough power in this world or the real to bring upon true peace between man, machine and program, is Neo, a man who was willing to give his life for all of us, and a man that we all respect for that. If he were to arise tomorrow, he would be the one person that the majority of the Matrix would be able to respect enough to stand behind.

It would create a new peace. One that could be utilized to combine the efforts of all of us, to utilize the programming of the child known as Sati, along with the technology of the machines, and to clear the skies of the real world, bringing sun back to the Earth.

With solar power and global heat returned, there would be no need for human batteries. The millions of humans trapped in their pods could be freed, and the Matrix could continue to exist as a home to the exiles, and as a blueprint of how we could rebuild the surface. But this is a future that is a long way off, and dependant on a number of things... the most important of which being the return of Neo. Neo is what we fight for, regardless of cost.

If we must play the role of terrorists to attain Neo, then so be it, and if he is truly dead, then so be that as well. However, we believe he is very much alive.

Yes, we will kill redpills and bluepills alike, if it means his return. And while Niobe distracts herself with genocide against the exiles, and Agent Gray sends his operatives in circles, we will continue to press forward.

We're all here to do what we're all here to do, and this is our purpose. If our purpose raises issues with your own, then I apologize, but it will not stop us from standing our ground on the battlefield, or from dying with honor while doing what we believe is right.

Because we choose to.

"Heh...Boss, have you said this?. It´s a manifesto from your friends, the Pluribus Neo guys!", said Wave, operator of the Hovercraft Ronin, to his captain.

Ryumanjisen took a deep look to the Phrack´s text, reading it with an unusual attention.

We're all here to do what we're all here to do, and this is our purpose. If our purpose raises issues with your own, then I apologize, but it will not stop us from standing our ground on the battlefield, or from dying with honor while doing what we believe is right.

"Phrack always loved the drama", Ryu said.

"What are you gonna do about these fellas, Boss? Some of their beliefs are very similiar to yours...you know, peace, no need for human batteries and all that. Although they are a little obssesed with that dead guy, Neo, but..."

"Wave", interrupted Ryu with an enigmatic smile, "you were  a better operator before, back when I was a complete mistery for you. Now you likes to talk too much..."

" You´re right, Phrack and I have similar beliefs. But he still need to demonstrate if he really believes in  pretty speech he calls Manifesto."

"But Boss", a slightly worried Wave replied, "I thought you were against killing bluepills...and these guys don´t hesitate in slaying blues if they get in their way".

"Who knows", said Ryu staring directly at his operator, "maybe I´m changing my mind".

After that enigmatic sentence, the captain left the the cabin, leaving a very worried operator watching one of the computers screen.

We're all here to do what we're all here to do, and this is our purpose

"Well what a surprise... another manifesto of their beliefs. Shall we even bother to read this one?" - Said Zoser, laying back and swinging back of the chair.

"Hmm... lets read it, im still undecided, even if you aren't."

**Reads Manifesto**

"You know, i hate to say it, but these guys make a lot of sense in what they are saying. They seem to have an organised plan, and it seems plausiable if u ask me." - Muttered Zoser, worried about what Raz might say.

"Your right.... maybe we did choose the wrong half of Zion...."

ORACLE: Two programs that I trusted sold the termination code of my original shell to the Merovingian.

GHOST: Why did they do that?

ORACLE: For love, and for the life of their child.

GHOST: You knew about it, and yet you let it happen?

ORACLE: I had to.

GHOST: Why?

ORACLE: Because the child is important. I can't tell you why, but I believe that one day the child will change both our world and your world forever.

Indeed, Let's make this dream come true.

Darminian sat at his monitor, he was more than impressed at the quality of the manifesto. Smirking he sat in the darkness and thought to himself:

Opposistion to the Opression.

It would seem we terrorists are better organised and reasonable than the masses thought, go figure.

The words echoed in his mind:

"Any judgement of a persons worth is a mistake. They will always surpirse you."

A Hovercraft Somewhere In The Real

Yahweh sat in the captain's chair, staring at the computer screen as he read through the day's broadcasts.  He smirked to himself as he finished reading Pluribus Neo's Manifesto.  Very well put, Phrack, very well put, indeed. He heard footsteps behind him, boots clanking against the metal floor.

"What's that?" asked his First Mate as she looked over his shoulder.

"Just another broadcast from Pluribus Neo," Yahweh responded, a trace of disgust creeping into his voice.

"Another one?"  She sighed, reading through it.  "They seem to be gathering large amounts of support, whereas we are just getting started.  Should we be concerned?"

"Should we?  Of course we should.  They threaten the continued existance of the Matrix," Yahweh explained.  "If they succeed, our efforts will have been for nothing."

She nodded.  "I see."

"You see..." Yahweh continued his explanation, "...a wise man once told me that Pluribus Neo and the Cypherites are merely opposite sides of the same coin."  A smug grin came across Yahweh's face. "They seek to destroy the Matrix and ultimately awaken humanity.  We seek to put everyone back inside.  Polar opposites.  In fact, if it wasn't for the actions of their crazed predecessor, Morpheus, we'd still be hiding in the shadows.  What they do, ultimately affects what we do."

"But we don't have the support." She objected.

"No, we don't.  But I need you to work on that.  Can you do that for me?" Yahweh grinned.

"Yes, Captain."  She turned and left the bridge.

Yahweh looked back at the screen and saw that he had a message.  He clicked on it, turning around to see if anyone was watching.  He entered the decryption key and looked at it.

WE NEED TO TALK.  YOU KNOW WHERE.

Yahweh sighed.

Church of the Disciples

Yahweh sat in the front pew, waiting for the person he was supposed to meet.  A few moments later, he heard footsteps and then saw someone sit down next to him out of the corner of his eye.

"I'm sure you've heard what has happened by now," Deakkon said.

Yahweh nodded. "I have."

"Your thoughts?"  Deakkon asked.

"The Revenant will survive.  One way or another."  Yahweh replied.

"You seem so sure." Deakkon said, shaking his head slowly.

"Let's just say I know more now than I knew the last time we met."  Yahweh stared up at the cross on the wall, thinking to himself.

"So what are you going to do?"  Deakkon asked.

"Look, I understand your concern.  And I understand everyone's reasons for jumping ship.  But my battle is far from finished.  There is much work to be done in the shadows.  You guys all chose a certain path that led you to form Exodus.  I have no doubt you guys will become a major group within the Matrix in the future.  But I believe my path may be different.  I believe I must take the road less traveled." Yahweh explained.

"You mean Pluribus Neo."  It wasn't a question.

Yahweh sighed.  "I won't lie to you, Deak.  Their beliefs seem to be an amplified version of those that I have carried with me ever since taking the red pill."

"But their actions are going to result in us all getting killed!  They're going to tear apart the very truce Neo bought with his life!"

"Listen to yourself, Deak!  You and I both served aboard the Revenant.  We were the ones sitting on Morpheus' code bombs for Neo's sake!"  Yahweh's voice elevated a few notches.  "Think about it.  We've done nothing lately.  We've lost our way.  And besides...Morpheus caused problems for the Machines...did they call off the Truce then?  No, they did not."

"They're fooling you, just like they're fooling everyone else," said Deakkon, leaning back in the pew and letting out a sigh.

Yahweh simply shrugged.  "If there's even the slightest possibility that Morpheus and Neo are still alive and they have a plan, then I must be a part of this.  They seem to be on the right track so far.  Trust me, Deak.  There is so much you do not know.  There is a storm brewing the likes of which the Matrix has never seen.  Will you harness this power?  Or will you take shelter and ride it out?" He stood up and turned to face Deakkon.  "It all comes down to choice."

"Choice."  Deakkon repeated to himself.

"Yes, choice." Yahweh said as he walked toward the front of the church.  "You can live in this illusion, or you can choose to believe.  I choose to believe."

"So you've made your choice, then."

Yahweh grinned as he walked away. "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."

Phrack-

I'm very pleased that Pluribus Neo is back in the business of delivering lucid, articulate reasoning and not the opaque, unintelligible drivel we've been force-fed by some of your most recent additions.

 Phrack,

I have read your Manifesto and I am impressed. The words you have written here, coupled with what was said during a conversation with Darminian last night over my recent Chaos Theory, suggests that we might be more alike than I ever could have originally imagined. I suggest you peruse the contents of The Chaos Theory when you have the time... and then perhaps we might be able to have a talk on how we could act on our similar conclusions and beliefs.
