Photoshop CS2 help?

I'm pretty knew to Photoshop CS2 and I am trying to add wordart to my pictures(I'm making a new sig). How do I do that?

Also, I want a border for the image?

Photoshop is a pretty high-end image editing program there isn't any 'set' wordart that you can use or a border setting. Here are a few quick tutorial sites to get you going...

A quick way of getting some 'effects' on text like wordart is to use Layer Styles (go to Layer>Layer Style and then hit one of the effects) using a combination of all of them you can get effects like this...

That's using the default settings on everything apart from Pattern Overlay which is switched off and 'Colour overlays' Blend mode set to 'Colour' and Stroke set to Size 1 and the colour of it changed to white.
