I am so F*ing tired of this. I go into try and play and anytime i go through a HL i crash. or i freeze until it crashes. It isn't on my end because i have been playing WoW for like 5 hours with no lag in anyway. Turning down my settings is not going to do anything either.

PLEASE FIX YOUR SERVERS!!

Which server?

Which RSI?

What is your system info?

Keep the rudeness 'till after you've answered those questions. Otherwise nothing can be done. The servers seem to be working happily for almost everybody else.

Without your MSINFO and DXDIAG reports there isn't too much we can do.

How many screenshots are in your MxO install directory? If there are a lot, that can cause time-out.
However, if the problems started after the patch then I'd say the worldmap files are damaged (there was an update to them).

In your MxO install directory, delete any files or folders whos name begins with an underscore "_". There should be two directories and maybe two files.

Then run a full system check.

Post back and let us know how it goes.

What resolution are you running the game at? The Loading Area is always 800x600 but when you jack-in what are you using?

Basically something is causing your computer to take too long to respond when you jack in and the server thinks you have disconnected.
Are you running over a wireless network connection by any chance? Are you running any P2P software?

Really at this point we're stuck without your system info.
Must read before posting: How to post your System/Network information

In particular I need to see your DXDIAG and MSINFO reports. To put your mind at ease they don't tell us anything that we don't already know that would affect your security.

Just by you posting we can already obtain your IP address, screen resolution, Web browser & version, Java version, enabled plugins, operating system, and machine name. (amongst other things).

As long as you don't post any usernames, passwords or banking details you should be fine.

i do not feel safe posting my information.

Next. I can walk around an area ingame. Then after 10 or so mins it times out. Ive been kicked like 15 times tonight within the last hour.

My screen rez is 2056x1024.

Ive already sent all the information into the TSRs. But after nearly 12 hours no one has figured out wth is going on. I missed out on an event. I'm not happy at all.

Thank you very much Phi but again i dont feel safe posting all that even though I know all of that is true.

Try running at 1280 by 1024.
You should be able to play without feeling too cramped on screen.

Also try opening the side of your computer case (WARNING: be careful to touch the casing before touching any components to make sure you don't fry anything with static electricity) and blowing the dust off all the fans and heatsinks (even a little can make a big difference). Then if that didn't work, point a household fan into your open case. Your video card could be overheating.

Another thing: Are you using a wireless network?

... The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist... that, and creating Wi-Fi networks.

2056x1024 is very wide... is that 1 or 2 screens?

It is entirely possible you are using a video mode that is causing problems

again i thank you for the help... but again nothing was wrong until patch 47 was put on my system.

Ive been playing that size for a few months now. No problems EVER.

Patch 47 comes out BAM! crashes.

Its something in the patch and I dont know how to fix it. None of the TSR's are lisitning to me. Something didn't download right, something was missing I need to know how to fix it. It isn't my hardware or my settings.

Sry if i sound angry its not you i'm just angry in general at this whole situation. Its been 24 hours since talking to the first rep and no emails. They all leave instead of helping me.

Yes 2 19" LCD screens

I went to get help from the same TSR tonight. And he proceeded to not listen to anything I was saying.

So I ask... will reinstalling fix the problem? Is there certain files I can deleate so I can just redownload the patches instead of redownloading everything?

Please and thank you.

In your MxO install directory, delete any files or folders whos name begins with an underscore "_". There should be two directories and maybe two files.

Then run a full system check.

That will delete the temp download files and re-check every game file.

Just humor me and try running it on 1 screen. You say that you've been running at your current setting for ages and the patch broke it. You don't know what code was changed and there is always a chance that a patch will break a not officially supported feature. Dual screens are not officially supported by MxO.

Really, we need the system info that you don't want to post. The CSRs won't be able to help you without it either. You don't have to give it to them ... but they can't help you if you don't.

You really are safe by posting the info.
