Another update come and gone.  Not even a mention of a fix for us.  Great they added "new" content.  But I have no way to obtain it.  Thanks...

Anyway, pehaps we deserve an update in here?

Im sick of this.  Its a broken game.  *shrug* whatever.

Walrus mentioned the steps they're taking in the Producer's Letter he posted recently:

Graphic Issues

We've done as much as we can internally to deal with the various compatibility issues the community has been discussing on the forums. At this point, we're going to see if we can get some direct assistance from our contacts at Microsoft and nVidia to analyze the issues. Hopefully we can find something we have the capability to fix that will alleviate the different problems. It would be even better if we found that Microsoft and/or nVidia had something in the works that take care of the problems, but we'll just have to see.

We know more and more players will likely run into similar issues as time goes on, so it's important for us to do everything we can to take care of them. You'll know more when we do. Thanks for everyone's help tracking them down

As I told mathalos, If your smart, take that with a grain of salt.

Edit : As soon as algorithm black is done, I will be too.  There are too many other wonderful games coming out, with far more content.  It was a great game before CR2 and before SOE screwed it over.  Now all it has is broken gameplay and a broken team to work on it.

Thanks for all the fun, but now the bad outweighs the good. SMILEY

A new driver has been released today. Forceware v. 163.75. So far it fixed some of my ingame graphic problems, but I can't say it fixed everything.

163.75 was released on November 6.

Beta drivers are up to 169.09. Still don't fix anything.

Symmetric, I don't know where you'd cadged Walrus' statement about working with Microsoft and nVidia, but it occurred to me they have another partner they may get some help from:  ATI.  I  hope they know this/can get some cooperation, because help from any front is certainly useful. SMILEY

I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone will help with the indoor lag problem.  I only thought of it because the Vista graphics issues that I have are on an ATI card.

I hope they get to fix it soon, I am also getting tired of switching over to vista just to do missions.

169.12 beta drivers are up for vista, Can't test them, My 8800GTX is in RMA.

Let me know if you want linkies, hopefully these will fix some texture problems, but no MXO notice in driver notes.

I'm having an issue with my 8800 GTX. My graphics are good most of the time, but every now and again the models on weapons, characters or interactable items get buggy and look very bad. I cant quite explain what it looks like, sorta like dots.

Sounds like the texture issue on vista with the 8 series cards

I wanted to ask a question. I was thinking of getting a GeForce 8 series card this Christmas, and obviously I will not buy the GTX because it might endanger my MxO game SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" /> but what about the 8 series that are below the 8800? I think they were GeForce 8800 GTS? Is it the entire 8 Series that's causing a problem or just the GTX? Thanks.

From what I've read it seems like the entire 8000 series unfortunately... else I would've gotten the 8600 already...
