Hey guys, I'm just curious as to which factions on Vector originated on
Input? I'm from Heuristic, so I know which ones came from there and
it's obviously easier to list the Input factions than it is the
Enumerator factions.

Basically just curious to see if many of the smaller server factions
have survived. I only remember Descendants of Smith from Input, but I
think they disbanded...

....to my knowledge the remaining input originating factions are;

Causality (Merov)

Sons of Liberty (Zion)

and well thats about it I see the odd member with a Duality tag on every son often and 'Red Lights District' is a Zion faction that sorta formed during the merger.

Children of Zion and G7G were on Enumerator and Input and hence merged and survived, 'Forsaken' seem to now have merged into the new 'Balance' faction.

Sorry if I missed any others but (sadly?) it seems the rest have been lost in the mix.

OOI which Heuristic factions are still around?

So we're still here.

Are you people proud of recruiting everyone with an internet connection to your faction?

Theres no organization to that method .

Also you dont know what your members are doing to tear your name down.

For instance ive had zions attacking me for days and 1 hour later they appear in g7g while swearing at me in profanity.

Than we have people like your freind deviljohnny who org hop to kill
machines. "if you want screen shots of this ill be happy to provide
them publicly or privatte"

Bragging about how big your faction is doesnt mean a thing exept you
dont care about the integrity or maturity of your membership base and
will do anything to get competitive numbers for somthing trivial as pvp.

g7gs a great faction its been around awhile and in no way am i flameing
it Aggie is one of the better guild leaders in this game imo but
seriously with the crap that other machines have to deal with on a
daily basis due to un organized recruiting i dont think having 30+
crews is not somthing to brag about.

*CENSORED* do you think i left?

RIP has some great members like 2soon phantompain trevon sonneillon
loaky and some others but because of poor leadership and recruiting
"just like in beta" thats why i left.

I prefer to actuly know who im playing with instead of having 30 new
players because somebody decides "hey thats a way to expose our faction
tag lets invite everyone we can"

Abigor, ok i do agree with u on our first recruiting methods, it was pretty much get them in at a low level and kind of guide their views our way as we showed them how to play the game. but when u get a whole bunch in u kind of lose track of it all and yea, everyday id get in and be like o hi, welcome to the faction, who are u?to like 5 ppl. so yea, i can understand where ur coming from. but just stating this, we have recently went thru a "cleanup" and a lot of crews got disbanded, members kicked things of that nature. we've outlined a strict recruitin policy to help with it all. Granted, we are no carebear fction by any means, but organization is a must to play a game like this effectively.

To answer the question as to what Heuristic factions are still
around... This is just to my knowledge and if I leave any factions out,
sorry.

Merovingian:

Delusional Outlook (Faction I'm in)

Phasma Ex Machina

- This isn't too bad, considering there were only three or four active Mero factions on Heuristic to begin with.

Machine:

The Pheonix Guard: (Although, sadly, they seem to be losing members every day and dissapearing)

Come to think of it, I can't think of any other Machine factions left
from Heuristic, either... There has to be at least one more though. A
little help someone? SMILEY

Zion:

The Priory of Zion: (Used to absolutely dominate Heuristic, until some
key members started to leave to help balance the server, and The
Pheonix Guard kept growing and eventually became the stronger faction)
- Now, I still don't see too many of them around, which is sad, since I
was once a part of them.

Ghosts of Zion: Didn't seem to have much of a presence on Heuristic as
they were pretty new, but I'm starting to see more of them these days.

The Alliance: I think this is a faction from Heuristic which changed its name from Deadly Alliance

BulletTime: Memories of crashing their party with the love handles DJ. Good times.

Any that I left out?

i can feel ya there loaky.

that's why ppl who want to join us need to sign up on our website and
join our vent  for us to approve them....specific
requierments.....lol don't worry not hijacking ur thread  for our
recruitment hehe

honestly though, that's why we in continuity have been a small faction
with a big rep, back when we had 2 full mission teams.   lol bring
ur zerg zion cuz u would die more than us hehe :smileyvery-happy:

I think Phoenix Guard is made up of me and Acep now.

And Bullettime is still my arch nemisis, but at least they stayed together, props on that, b1tches.
