It maybe just me (It usually is) but when in ranged shoot-outs and you activate a move, say disarming shot (I'm still fairly low level) the animation begins as soon as the yellow timer begins and its usually finished before halfway. So you're left standing there firing off normal shots and if you get hit there's a possibility of being interrupted, AFTER you've already completed the move. Shouldn't the move begin near the end of the timer thingy? Is this the same as everyone else or is it just me? realise it's only a minor point, but when your watching the fight and working out the best next move it gets annoying!

Yeah, it works that way with a lot of ranged special moves... even knife throws with long use timers do that.  You throw the knife in the half second it takes to throw the knife, and then you have to stand there waiting for your use timer to fill up before the move is "completed."  Sure it works as intended, but it's still weird looking.  I think your idea of at least bumping the animation to closer to the end of the use timer instead of the beginning would help even if it wouldn't solve the problem entirely.

Watching the animation go off in the beginning is proof that it's working. Otherwise, I feel you'd move and interrupt it sooner if the animation took place further into the timer. If anything, perhaps a longer/slower animation would be in order. For Sever Artery or Disarming Shot, this would make some sense.
