The Edgewater Exile known only as "The Bartender" invited a small contingent of operatives from Zion, the Machines, and our own organization for what turned into something of a laurel-branch-waving lecture on maintaining peace in the Matrix.
While such ultimately futile efforts aimed at universal brotherhood often impress those without the stomach for blood, let us not be so naive as to forget that we all act in our own self-interest. Risks are high in a war situation, but so are potential profits for the less squeamish, as those of us who have survived previous system failures can attest.
When in doubt, Mervs will party.

Interesting event- what did she give out to folks?
"Glad we took down that "No shirt, no shoes, no service" sign"
If there were signs like that, my party suit would go to waste...
And When in doubt... Machines *coughs* as in me... will be party!
I love how peace is once again (the Oracle brought it up earlier when she tried talking to redpills about the Truce) a topic peeps just gloss over.
Neo sacrificed himself to achieve peace which of course the Machines agreed to when they let Neo fight for them but then renigged upon by only offering a Truce. Peace is the only thing worth fighting for.
And just to be clear before you rebutt my statement about peace, You're wrong. Get over it. Grow up. Get a brain and use it. Learn how to read AND comprehend. A Truce is not Peace. It's in the dictionary. Peace is the absence of war. Truces don't exist if there is no war. A Truce is a ceasefire in a war that provides an opportunity to establish Peace which would then end the war. If the Truce fails, the war won't start again because it never stopped, the war will continue and combat will resume. If you can't understand that, then just look at all the sentinels poised to destroy Zion the moment the Truce breaks. Doesn't look like peace. Doesn't taste like peace. Doesn't smell like peace. Well gee, it must not be peace...
So if the Machines and Zion have a truce, then why do Machinists and Zionites make war against each other? Is the intelligence quotient that low across the board? if you don't like the Truce, you don't belong in the Machine or Zion organization. You're path lies elsewhere with one of the other three organizations. When you join an organization, you support that org's agenda. That is all. You can't redefine the org agenda just because you do missions for them. you are not the org. You are their operative. That is all.
Zionites and the Machinists are perfectly capable of working together to fight those who threaten and oppose the Truce. What does it take for peeps to represent their orgs properly? If you are a Machinist who wants to be at war with Zion, then you need to join the Cypherites. It's not that hard, just takes a lil brain power to look at your agenda and figure out where you should really be. If you are a Zionite and want to fight the Machines, join EPN. If you can't decide who you want to fight, want to fight everyone, or only care about yourself, join the Merovingian.
Machinists attacking Zionites and vice versa, Machinists trying to villianize Zion and vice versa, all that is pointless drivel that undermines the agendas of the orgs you represent which makes you nothing short of a traitor to your org. Machines and Zion may not be at Peace, but the Truce is an agreement to not combat each other and work towards real Peace. If you can't live up to that, then find the right org to express your agenda with.
Of course as I said at the beginning, nobody really cares about peace. That's ok too. Just keep in mind how stupid it is to work for Zion or the Machines if you don't care about fighting for Peace.
I appreciate intelligent replies but of course expect to be flamed by the mindless so flame at will...I know you will...just proves everything I just said.

Shhh, Alphy!
Now... you will give me free drinks for life! And... A permanent VIP pass! And... uhm... killcodes for all Cypherites and the General! The light demands it!
I'm seriously going to have to make something out of that screenshot, though. It's purdy. And here I just finished making a new wallpaper with one of those Pace screenshots...
