Forgotten Memories

((Second Part of Changes in the Horizon))

Tony is running, he dare not look back to see what from; all he knows is to run. He feels like an animal in a hunt, scared and alone; he runs into another man.

Man: Whoa! Slow down there mister
Tony: Please you have to help me! They are coming for me!
Man: Who are?
Tony: I don’t know! Please help!
Man: Well I see nobody….ARRGGHHH

Tony is in total shock at what he is seeing, the would be helper is being consumed by what looks like oil, but thicker; much thicker. The oil like liquid fades away and all that is left is another man, but he looks identical to the man who just attacked him from behind.

Tony: Wha…what are you???
Smith 1: Smith is name
Smith 2: Really? So is mine
Smith 1: How nice…
Tony: Leave me alone!

Tony runs in the opposite direction and the two men follow him, easily catching up to him; they grab him. Tony’s life slowly begins to fade, darkness surrounding him; suddenly Tony hears gun shots in the back of his mind.

Unknown Man: Run!

Tony feels his legs start to move, his eye sight returns and just looks forward and never stops running. While running he can still hear gun shots, but suddenly they stop. He stops running…

Smith 1: Did you think we forgot about you?
Smith 3: No matter, it is inevitable Mr. Doman.
Tony: No please!
Smith 1: Oh you will like being me…

Tony feels that feeling again, this time no one to help; the oil like liquid consumes Tony.

Crew member 1: Twaggy? Sir can you hear me!?

Twaggy is tossing and turning, talking and begging.

Crew member 2: Sir wake up!
Twaggy: ARRGH!.... What the hell?! What are you doing in my chamber?
Crew member 1: Sorry sir, we heard noises and found you like you were…
Crew member 2: Bad dream sir?
Twaggy: No…. bad memory I think… but I can’t be sure.
