clothing priorities for MKT/Assassin ?

ok i gather than thrown accuracy and anything that helps IS regen, points , modifier etc.
but any other bonuses i should be on the look out for for ?
ballistic resistance/defense ?    seems like melee resistance/defense is not as important since you can rollout so easy , anyway, any advice would be great

you will definitly need some melee defence because MA's will rip you up in interlock. the rest should be accuracy/damage/IS. i wear 3% acc pants, 2%acc/dmg shirt, 2%dmg shades, 2%melee defence gloves, sakura bandanna (for IS), area k and seriphims.

another question is resistance or defense more important to MKT, reason i ask is have been hearing that defense is always active but resistance requires buff's to be active (this true?), and unless i am missing something we dont have any defense resistance buffs, like a MA would, so defense more important ?

Defense and resistance can be a bit tricky cause it depends on how you are referring to them. Clothes with just a plain resistance bonus are great (Eg +30 Melee Resistance). I will swap and change the clothes I have to max out the resistance against whoever I am fighting or whatever the Majority of the opposing forces are. But resistance % bonuses are not so great (Eg +2% Melee Resistance). The % bonus will only take effect if you have an active buff working, like consistent technique in the awakened tree or Iron body in the Aikido tree, it won't affect the resistances you have that are granted by clothes. In my experience the % resistance bonuses really aren't worth it on clothes, better to go for defense cause, like you said, they will always be granting a bonus, be it in your Martial Arts style (Like Spy style or self defense) or in the hyper defenses you use.

I switch out my damage shades for Widow's Moor, because sometimes you just need that extra IS. (Unless you're dueling.)
