Because as chief Cypherite, you'd know, right?

That's an idiotic statement. The cyphs know how to make them, if stolen the others can reverse engineer them and them make them themselfs. But you didn't think about that did you? No you jumped to a sarcastic comment.

It's not like they'll just go away, even if Zion and EPN steal or destroy every last one of them.  The people who made them will just make more, and hopefully (once the devices are perfected) we won't have to worry about overrides destabilizing the Matrix or its programs anymore.

Do they now?

These are prototypes. Destroy them, destroy the plans, and what are they left at? Square one. It took them quite the time to make this and it would take them quite some time to remake it.

Since you're not the ones in charge of this or even the ones involved with this, I'd recommend you not give out progress reports, engineering feasibilities, and time tables.

Well, that is unless you are in charge of this program and are involved with the Cypherites.

But that'd hardly be a surprise.

I think thats long overdue advice given the attitude of some of the lower tier members.

One cleverly misplaced screenshot later, and the only response to Kellner's confusion seems to be his own factionmates making fun of him, and not Cryptos too.  I wasn't aware Rare was this nice?

More like square three. Research was undertaken and that's still in the mind of the researcher, knackered as it may be.

Ignorant prat.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Cypherites claim responsibility for these override overrides. Why? 'Cos it'd be predictable, and I do so like to be right. We all know it was in fact down to one person; someone whose mind was augmented by a Machine program for some considerable time at that.

That wasn't a general "you," Proc.

It was very specific. I'd hardly accuse you of being a Cypherite.

But the Collective threw their lot in with them a long time ago.

Oh, I know you weren't being general, but neither was I. I don't consider it appropriate to imply close association between Illyria and the Cypherites, though I can't speak for the Collective as a whole.

Or maybe I am wrong and there's some recent development that I should know about?

I don't know. But Illyria seems to think she understands the Cypherite infrastructure involved with the creation of anti-override codes well enough. That seems a little indicative, doesn't it?

And beside that, there is, of course, BlazinWolf's pre-truce assassination of a Zion captain (which most of TC, including Illyria, assisted) and all of the assistance they've given the Cypherites in days, months, and years past.

I mean, was it really a coincidence when they showed up after Cryptos jacked the BIP from the Merv and helped them get away with it? I don't know.

But in my mind, TC has stood for "The Cypherites" for quite some time.

Claim responsibility for them? Tsk tsk. You would so love to add that to your resume of made up things that are wrong with the Cypherites, hm? Responsible for them? No no. In a way, your ... bosses are responsible for them for what you did to Cryptos. But he remains leader of the Cypherites and entrusted us with their field testing.

It's not a matter of us claiming responsibility. It's the fact that Cryptos will give them to the worthy. And self-righteous fools like yourself who care more about pride than the Matrix do not fit into that category, I think.
