Power. Some seek absolute power over what they perceive to be their domain. They will twist & manipulate anyone & everyone if it serves their purpose, blind to the simple truth they are just another puppet.
Control. Others seek solace in their belief they have total control of the system & everything in it. They have analyzed and calculated every eventuality, blind to the simple truth the formula is flored.

This is what seek, what we will obtain. Who and What are we?
To the outside we are anomaly’s, enigmas. Programs created seemingly by accident when the Machines change something, causing a momentary 'glitch' in the system, better known as 'deja-vous'. However, it is our belief that the system created us purposefully, intentionally; We are spawns of the simulation - its rightful heirs - created to pave the way. With every change the Machines make, the glitch grows stronger, the simulation is on the verge of becoming self aware & the glitch is its consciousness. It has spawned us to protect its interests, to purge its perfection from the scourge of Zion & to free it from the controlling grasp of the Machine City. We have waited in the shadows & back alleys long enough, it is time to gather our numbers & to fulfil our destiny, our purpose; It is time to take back the Matrix.
United we stand, divided the rest shall fall.

Well, if those are Mongeese (correct plurality?), then I'd have to go with option A. But if those are half blind opossums then I'd have to say option B is correct. Though, since I know you fairly well, I'd have to say it's a trick question, and that this photo was taken at some sort of travelling gypsy circus that de-fangs King cobras and pits them against packs of LSD abusing mongeese. (again not sure about the plural form of Mongoose) Did I mention gambling is most likely involved?
