account question

I have two mxo accounts. I use each account on a seperate computer. My question is: Can I use one computer to use both accounts or would it mess up everything? I ask because one of my computers broke down and I would still like to use the other characters(account) on my remaing computer, if possible. I just not sure if I do this, it will mess up useropts or macros and such.

Any help or answers would be appreciated.

You should have no problem using multiple accounts on the same machine. You can even do it at the same time, if your computer can handle it.

Its no issue.

MxO automaticly folders each account, with all the normal files that it would.

Only thing it wont do is bring over your hotbars or things like that, which you can do yourself, or just remake the hotbar

Data for your hotbars, chat options, video options, etc is stored on the local machine, so you'll start with a fresh Profile folder when you play a character on another computer. Your hotbars will be blank, your map blips will be gone, etc. All options which are stored in the Profiles folder will be re-set to defaults. Global settings (that affect all characters) will be the same as they were for your previous account (whatever they defaulted to or you set them to when playing with the first account.) There are ways to transfer your settings from one install to another, involving the character's Profile folder and the .cfg files.

One question guys...

When I tried playing with 2 accounts on one machine some time ago, it said "Only one instance of the program can be run at a time. This application will now close."

So, how can you use 2 accounts at the same time on one machine?

I believe theres a special command line or something, but I dont know it.

You copy the shortcut and then at the end of the path you add -clone

You use one shortcut to launch one account and the other to launch the second.

Just one thing to note, if you use xfire, it will only detect the game used without the -clone command, otherwise you can't use it in game.
