Evaluator:
In addition to combat skills, concealment skills, code manipulation and codebreaking, knowledge of the city is another trait of a skilled operative. Knowing your surroundings can save yourself and perhaps valuable time in a rough situation. The eighth test in this series looks at this in the form of identifying locations of images from the environment. Participants who can view an image and correctly identify the coordinates within a specified range will excel here.
This evaluation will take place over five days, with two images given each day. A picture of a place in the city will be shown in each image, and the objective will be to be the first to respond with the correct coordinates corresponding to where the picture was taken. There will be no clues or hints provided, other than any you may pick up from any landmarks or buildings shown in the picture.
The "Y" coordinate does not have to be given. The coordinates do not have to be exact. There is a margin of error of 20 in each direction, and any coordinate given within that range will be accepted.
Example: If the correct coordinates are: X: 1,000 and Z: 500,
An answer of X: 980 and Z: 520 would be accepted.
An answer of X: 1,020 and Z: 490 would be accepted.
An answer of X: 1,016 and Z: 503 would be accepted. As long as the answer falls within the margin of error, 20 high or 20 low, it will be accepted.
TIP: Try to get as close as possible so that what you see matches the position in which the picture was taken. This should guarantee that your coordinates fall within the margin of error.
A correct answer awards 2 points for each image, with 10 images for a possible total of 20 points.
The images will be provided at 12:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. on each of the five days.
The current planned days are:
Dec. 28 - Dec. 30
Jan. 2nd and 3rd.

Very important, please make sure you understand: When you give your answer, you must also give your operative name in the Matrix. You can either give it along with your answer here, or you can send it in a private message to Merrit here, but please make sure you include it. I won't be able to assign you your points if you do not do this. One operative name per Data Node One ID, please. Although you can send your operative name privately, your coordinates must be given here in this broadcast message. Answers that are e-mailed to me in the Matrix will not be accepted, and answers that are sent in a private message will not be accepted.
Very important: Answers given in a message that has been edited will not be accepted! If you have to edit your answer, please make a new message! I will not be able to accept your answer if you do not do this.
