I used to go to lunch at McDonalds with my friends in high school every day just because it was so cheap. Then I found out the tiny unfulfilling burger I had for lunch was the equivalent of an entire day of calories. That wasn't the final blow though.

Then, my friend took one of their 99 cent cheeseburgers, squeezed it in his hand, and filled a small drink cup full of grease. That was the last time any of us ever ate there. I haven't had a double quarter pounder with cheese or a big mac in 4 years. It was a pretty powerful image, I doubt I will go back to McDonald's in my lifetime.

You are what you eat. Fast food is crap. Sorry but it's true. There is no healthy fast food so there is no good fast food. The fact that companies like McDeaths are so successful shows how gullible and stupid most Americans are. Line up and pay your hard earned money for something which slowly kills you from the inside. All those millionaires the company has made should be ashamed that they made their money poisoning people. The deforestation and pollution they've created should be enough to keep them from sleeping at night, but I don't suppose Death Merchants have a conscience anyway.

I like how everything advertises 0 trans fat, or whatever the fad is for the month.

People take marketing way too seriously without having a conscience of their own. A lot of people drink diet soda because they have this misconception that it's better for them, and they use that as a reasoning for why they drink a case of it within a few days time. All soda is bad for you in regular amounts, regardless of the sugar, caffeine, or sodium that's in that little "Nutritional Facts" panel.

The fact of the matter is most of us live in a society where we're pressed for time and see McDonalds, Burger King, or Wendy's as an easy way to get hot food quick, without realizing the level of crap we're pumping into our systems. If you cut out fast food and eat a healthy diet, you'll notice that your endurance goes up. Eat healthy for six months and then eat a Big Mac. I'll bet if it doesn't upset your stomach you'll at least take a nice big sh*t.

You're right. By taking in crap, you condition yourself to be crap where health is concerned.
