SOE Live Chat - ITS A JOKE

I headed over to the Knowledge base in order to find some info on the
current login issue as its annoying me and as this is my 30days free
trial period I may cancel my account and move over to a game where the
tech support actually provide support.....anyway here is what i said:



I am getting the following Login Error: The character
could not be loaded because there is already a load attempt in
progress. So is many other people but no support seems to have been
given on the forums, I would like this to be fixed. I am on my free
1month trial of the game before I decide to go ahead with billing. If
this issue continues for me today I will be cancelling my subscription
and I will purchase something else because its now beyond a joke, its
starting to become annoying.Its a waste of my money paying for a game i
cannot play
.




So anyway after 10 minutes of waiting I finally got round to speaking
with someone who asked me for my account details etc, I cannot see why
they need this information. Anyway he went on to mention that he would
pass my details on to his supervisor, why would he need to do this?



I then mentioned about teh current issues again with login for many players which he seemed
to know nothing about. He also asked if I could login with another
character but as I dont have another character I said no, he then told
me he couldnt help me and that I had to contact someone else, now if I
had contacted the wrong department I would accept that but Im sorry but
that was a silly answer, If i was allowed I would actually tell you the
agents name but I cannot, I will tell you if needed via a pm.



So there you have it, SOE Live Chat is as useful as a chocolate fireguard!:robotmad:

This is because the Tech support chat is for computer based problems, if you had checked the Tech support forums u would of founf a 15pg thread of people with the same problem as you, maybe u should check it out (it was floated by TSR - Joel)

I think one of the mods owe you an explination on why support refuses to help you.

In a game thats in its current state i think that customer support should treat these situations more seriously.

What are you guys on about i play alot of SOE games mostly Planetside and when i want support or what ever i as a question it comes back 100% answered or fixed like what the hell are you guys doing to your game?

Well
consider this - on the page before the chat opens I choose "The Matrix
Online" as the producty I am seeking support for. Then I clearly type
the error message into the question field and click "Connect" or
whatever it says. I wait 20 minutes for a rep - the 1st question he
asks me is "Are yiou getting an error message? If yes - what is it?"
(Ummm....didn't I put that in the question that he supposedly read
("Give me a second while I read your question"))



So I tell him the error message again - then he asks "What game are you
seeking support for?" (Didn't I ALSO just choose that on the previous
page?). I tell him MxO - he goes "Oh - let me see if I can get an MxO
Agent". I wait another 15 minutes just for him to come back and tell me
there's no MxO agent available and for me to try again later - and next
time I should choose "The Matrix Online" as the product.



So I flipped a little bit - and asked him if he thinks it's ok for me
to wait 35 minutes to be told to come back and do what I actually did
in the 1st place. He goes - hold on - and magicially 2 minutes later I
have a SUPPOSED MxO Agent on the line who pretty much tells me "Yeah
we're working on it - nothing we can do at the moment". So I say "Ok -
so you're basicially telling me I cannot play the game riight now?" to
which he just treplies "Keep checking the forums" at which point I just
get disgusted and say "Ok - sure - whatever - have a good day".



Does this little story sound like quality custimer support to YOU?

I agree with you on this one - I had the same problem tried logging into my recursion character and it said The character could not be loaded because there is already a load attempt in progress


I went to the live chat and left it run for 3 hrs - no response at all - 12 hrs later still can't get into the game - It Sucked.  Normally the old SOE Live Chat tech support was awesome which I used for SWG but this new one sucks

I mentioned the 15 page thread to the guy actually and told him it
wasnt just me but he said that he didnt view the forums and was not
aware of the issue.
