lol i was wondering the same thing...i think its a fair rule...only downside is people can't show the fun and playful side which can reflect what goes on in faction chat...however - it will force us to make far more constructive and attractive posts to recruit potentials.

Well, aside from it seeming a little strict and almost a punishment, I don't really mind it (though I think 1 post per day would be better), there are a few things I don't like:

1: It means someone or some group has been excessively complaining, and I find that annoying.

2: It's just the way it's posted. It doesn't make it seem like it's for the good of the section. It's just "do this or get punished".

3: If you post without checking nothing's been posted in 3 days you're screwed.

Agreed. Its fun trying to think of new things to say if you're one of the only people posting in the thread, like me for Causality :\... I understand the rule, but I don't think that anyone has gone crazy with any of the threads, cus I read most of them.

Very true, it's arbitrary, was put forth on the community with no explanation and makes no sense. Oh well, I guess they want to be the first MMO that lacks the ability for guilds/factions/clans to be able to recruit in historically acceptable standards with respect to the MMO industry.
