Yeah, thought they might be, hoped they weren't. Although I'd like to have them I've always taken the view that the Beta clothing should remain with the beta players, so I'm outta luck. SMILEY

I always favored the original Commando boots over the Beta Boots, unfortunately it looks like we'll never get a taste of that delicacy.

Despite the delay near the end, everyone did an excellent job of guiding the crew through their journey.  With only a couple turnbacks, they made great time.

However, the delay in the end was completely avoidable.  The crew was delayed due to our inability as a group to agree on one final maneuver.  Though the arguments had merit, egos exaserbated the situation, which cost Newport and his team.  I hope this serves as a valuable lesson that there is no place for bickering when other lives are on the line.

A very good lesson indeed for any organization to to adhere to when ego eclipses the task at hand it can be detrimental.  I believe this information is imperative to mankind as a whole. Being proud of a respectable work ethic in the field and your unique abilities is one thing putting the mission at hand in jeopardy is however another.

When your dealing with peoples lives and ground breaking missions self worth and an egocentric attitude have no place in the operation.

(( What an interesting idea for an event!  It would be great if there are more like this in the future. ))
