So the main page for Fan Faire, has listed both the Copyright usage required from Warner Brothers to use "The Matrix "Online" name and logo and also has "The Matrix Online" listed under the "Featured Games" section.
Both of which, especially the latter, would suggest that there may be something planned for the game.
its cause they used the matrix logo on the game dropdown.

Lame, lame, lame. I and another player made a very brief aside as to what to do in Vegas in addition to FF (nothing naughty), and I mentioned how the economy has affected the city. Apparently someone who's precious and delicate sensibilities were offended flagged the posts for removal. GF, I guess its not okay to talk abut anything that people can do outside of the convention walls when the convention isn't going on. I wonder if we'll be allowed to talk about MxO inside the convention walls, or is that verboten too?

This post sounds a little excessively negative to me.
Also, yes, we will indeed be allowed to talk about The Matrix Online, within the walls of the convention. As we all know, the walls have ears but as the old saying goes...
"... when those walls have the Copyright permissions from Warner Brothers, they don't mind so much."

XElite youre a nice guy...youre a nice guy...but that doesn't cut it whe...
Actually I was objecting to the flagging & removal of a quick aside (one small post) as to things to do in Vegas outside of FF09, more importantly how the economy has affected the city and how that impacts what people might want to do when not in the convention. I am a walking Zagat's guide
So far I've seen NOTHING that even remotely would interest me in going to this year's SOE Fanfaire. Was that Top 10 Reasons to go to Fan Faire 2009, that was posted on the main site supposed to be a joke? I still don't have any incentive to attend till I see something resembling respect for this game, but sadly I doubt it will happen....
Now that tickets are available, will there be any ingame item offered? Also, will there be anything related to The Matrix Online at FF'09?
I think MxO based questions are banned on the Station Forums so I can only suggest asking Virrago to find out whats going on with FF'09 panels and/or items.
I have a request of the people going to Fan Faire. Please don't go and just kiss up and shmooze with Walrus and company. We, as a community, don't want to see pictures of you pretending to punt Walrus.
I ask that you be direct with your questions about the future of the Matrix Online. Ask why we're not on the Station Store anymore, what plans there are for the future, etc. If at all possible, go to Smedly himself.
As consumers, we're being ripped off paying $15 a month for a game that has zero development. These people need to be held accountable for their desicions.

No, get 'em drunk instead, to the point where they're hugging you and you're their best friend, then ask the important stuff. Only thing is you gotta try and remember what they said through your own hangover.
In all seriousness though, it's you guys who are going who are going to have a chance to ask those direct questions face to face, please don't waste the opportunity.
Telling the rest of us what was said would be handy too!
