Alright, this hasn't happened until recently (2-3 Days ago), but every time I come around a mass group of players fighting, the combat sounds become distorted, often stretching out for much longer than they should. If I have the radio on it also distorts the radio as well. Coders that are currently coding (Typing Noise) Creates major lag for me as well and I have to get out of earshot.

 As soon as I am out of the distance of the sound, the lag goes away. Does anyone have any answers for this? My sound card is up to date with the drivers as well.

Sounds like a memory/sound card issue. Maybe broken?

Look in your Options.cfg file for the line that reads:

audio_max_voices = *some number*

What is the number, and what model is your soundcard? It sounds like the game is generating too many simultaneous sounds for your hardware and they are backing up.
