## Broadcast Depth ## Incoming Transmission... ## Fuscienne // HvCFT Neo's Hope ## Relay Initialized - Operation Report 6/28
To: Michael and Shimada
Since intercepting the initial signal some nights ago, considerable plans were put in to place by our operatives upon receiving crucial intel that detailed a full plan of attack from the Cypherites. The meeting held on Tuesday evening, left us concluding that an attempt of counteraction would be set in motion for Thursday.
Two specialized surveillance teams were assigned to the task of tracking Alpha and Bravo teams, notably their leads, Haigen and Tranta in attempt to find out what they were after. A further briefing of the mission objectives took place in the Stamos Building shortly before both teams headed out.
Operatives, Shinpseudo, Gerik, Burbs, SEPET and ShiXinFeng, along with myself were assigned for team Alpha. And to Bravo team, Operatives Havocide, RetroX01, Phaydren, Kimri, Jac2k6son and Zimmermann. Upon both teams successfully locating our targets, and overhearing the intended location of their first attack from Veil herself, all other operatives were sent to South Vauxton. In the meantime our other team continued to pursue Tranta's whereabouts as the two became separated.
Fortunately Havocide and his team were able to make Tranta's team exiting the secure Zion area, alerting us to their true target that very night. Although a little late for us to do anything further we were able to give word to Zion of what had happened, seemingly it was all a cover to divert their attention, not ours.
A debriefing near the Wharf later that evening helped clarify on the situation a little, with Zion Liaison Officer Harkee also in attendance. The full extent of what data they obtained from Zion is still not known. Someone will have some explaining to do--that's for sure. If Zion can just let that sit, it's beyond me. At least with all our efforts and the second teams discovery, their ploy didn't achieve all it set out to do either, except on Zion's part.

I am disappointed that EPN did not feel in a position to share information with Zion until after-the-fact. Fortunately, The Daniel Institute were able to ascertain some details prior to the incident, but no thanks to the E Plurubites.
From the report from Fuscienne it is apparent than significant amounts of planning went in to the EPN response; I congratulate them on their attempts to defend Zion's data. Such a task can hardly be regarded as extremism and seems quite appropriate for Zionite support.
Despite all their placatory words, Machinsits were a notable presence at the skirmish. Under such circumstances, Zion support might well have been of pivotal significance in "tipping the balance" in our favour.
The eventual purchase of the information by The Machines was a pointless attempt to place distance between themselves and the act itself, when their prior contribution is so obvious and happens which such regularity. I would suggest that their current working practice can be readily regarded as inefficient......

Since we got info they was targeting EPN. So really, we didn't have any need to tell you. As it was EPN issues. Untill we knew they was after Zion, which was too late then. So we then passed info to Harkee moment she jacked in.
((I completely understand Havo, no offence meant: Coro is looking for evidence to support an agenda.))
And this means that Zion sleeps before our Liaison arrives? Zion operatives were obviously in the area and actively seeking answers, yet no information was forth-coming. This matter was always likely to involve a defensive action: Zion would hardly have much sympathy for the aggressors in such a flash-point. The Cypherites had no such dilemma in securing Machinist support....
*sigh*
This gets worse and worse...

EPN ARE NOT ZION?

You realize there's never going to be a revised "disclosure" version of this post, right? And due to the lack of players making logs, I doubt we'll ever have a full log of this. How do you people expect the storyline to be preserved for the future of it's not being preserved?
Well, yes and no. We're Zion when it comes to the really big stuff, critical missions, fighting off large threats... but when it comes to disputes between operatives, which this seems to be (although it does seem to be a very big one, not sure yet what the consequences will be), we do not belong to the Zion of Commander Lock because we have seperated ourselves from what we feel is his overly conservative policy. At least that's the way I see it.
I hope very much though, that in the future, Zion and EPN can learn to work together, despite our differences, to insure that incidents like this one are avoided.
