how long did it take you to put the names in, i know it sounds silly but if you take longer than i think its 5-10 mins your connection to the server times out and nothing happenns.

The best thing to do is just have a list of names ready to fire down onto the creation form.

If that dosent work then im out of ideas and ill leave it over to jeffers or phi to fix....

Hello StephenB,

Did FlaminMathew1 help you get this resolved?

And speaking of which I am just taking over these boards, what was the fix FlaminMathew1?

I'm having issues with this as well.

Whenever I try to create a character on Recursion and Syntax everything works until just after I click create. The screen goes back and then the chat window appears and that is it. I can type into the chat window, I can issue a few slash commands like /quit /exit and /ccr but other emotion command just say they don't exist.

I can log into my already created character on Vector.

Ive not found a fix to be honest...on some occasions.. what i try works..sometimes it doesnt. I believe its more a PC issue client side...not server side.

One of my faction guys had a simliar trouble and hes now playing fine..he had to sort his PC out..which is a pain cos as Fulcrum said to me..MxO is the only game he has trouble with.

If i can aid anyone with getting jacked in pelase PM me

read my post ! SMILEY

not this post my other post , hehe , on how I fixed it eventually . I still play Coh and Cov and Eq2 havent played

Wow in a few months , but ive never had a problem with those games. they installed and played right off the get go.

but your right -- Mxo is the only game that has given me a problem in a Very very very long time.

I also have other games on my drive that ive played with no problems --albeit they arent online games so to speak -- Medieval 2: Total War , Supreme Commander , Fear and the add on and a few other games that are fairly Graphic , memory , Cpu , intensive .

Do yourself a favor and reinstall Mxo -- make sure you delete all the old files first .

thats what I finally did and Mxo started right up and I havent had any problems since .SMILEY

and that was after practically ripping my computer apart trying to figure out the problem. hehe . and i should have known better SMILEY . hehe . doh! . you would think after 20yrs of building systems I would have known.hehe.I was tired ,, really I was <>.

get your game going and get into the matrix - its pretty dam cool.

cya there.

I was able to fix my issue with a rollback of my Nvidia drivers. The only issue they had was with character creation, otherwise the game ran fine. (weird issue)

one thing you should try that worked for me is that when you start up the game, on the screen where you type in your account name and password, look for a switch right below the screen where you insert your account password that says "patch: full system check". when you see it, click on it and then after it resets the game, go through everything else as you normally would. (p.s. if you use windows xp, go to firewall and allow matrix online launcher and another app. that should just say matrix.)

This appeared to work for me.
