I can't get into the game

When i try to log into a world, i get a message that says..........

The file client.dll could not be set up properly.

No avaliable render modes were detected.

The application is now shutting down.

Could anybody help please???

This is usually caused by a fault while patching. Run the launcher with the "full system check" option activated. It's a little switch near the bottom of the launcher.

This can also occur if your graphics card or driver are not supported, or an invalid screen resolution/refresh rate or other graphic setting has been saved in your CFG files. You may want to verify that your graphics card is supported by the game (I know the link is for SWG-supported cards, but the same ones can be used for MxO).

If this is still not working, try going into your MxO directory (Usually C:\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online\). Locate and delete the following files:

options.cfg

autoexec.cfg

useropts.cfg

When you start the game, be sure to toggle the Full Scan at botht he EULA screen, and the Login screen.
