Ever been confounded by the twisting and turning White Hallways in the International District? Here's a guide to help you know your way around. Who knows, maybe you'll find you like this alternative mode of travel (regardless if you're fighting the Elite Commandos or not).

White Hallway Doors Locations

District                      X        Y       Z                 Leads To (Z=700)

Shinjuku (main)      -40       1     436   =>      906    81
Ikebukuro              722     -10     3     =>     1050   21
Furihata                -387       1    -331  =>      906   141

The White Hallways: T-shape

The regular, T-shaped White Hallways always spawn you with a Z coordinate of 700, and the X and Y coordinates listed below are all where you spawn at after going through a door. Each of these hallways has two doors leading from it, one down the left of the T, the other at the end of the right of the T. Some of these Hallways lead to other T-shaped Hallways, to the Square Hallways, or back outside to certain spots in the International District. X values run right to left, Y values run up and down. On top, I show how you get to a Hallway, on bottom shows where Left and Right bring you. Note: Square Rooms have a Z coordinate of 530.

The White Hallways: Square Rooms

As mentioned above, all Square Rooms have a Z coordinate of 530. There are 6, compared to 26 T-shaped. I only know of one door in each of them that leads out, if there are more, tell me and I'll edit this.

(Still need to finish filling this out)
Item               Coordinates                    Where you come out

Boots              1380      21                    Shinjuku    -51 29 385
Pants              1380      41                    Hallways    -1367 141
Helmet            1380      61                    Furihata    -339 1 -647
Gloves             1380      81                    Shinjuku    -51 29 385
Goggles          1380     101                   Kaede        73 21 -363
Shirt/Jacket     1380     121                   Hallways       906 81

Other Information
Obviously, these things are pretty confusing. Sorry if my formatting makes it more confusing for you. There's an obvious pattern to the spacing of the Hallways, I noticed. Also, in one spot, there's a loop that you could get stuck in forever between two T Halls if you kept going right once you reach one of them. Watch out for that. If you see any errors, or if there are any additions I should make, tell me and I'll try to get them in. I had all this done before Halloween but wasn't sure if I had all the doors, I guess there's only three though. Hopefully this makes it easier to know the directions for the Elite Commando Quest, I might update this or post in the Elite Commando Quest thread a faster way to the items. I can't say this would actually be a favorite way to travel, but hey, it's there.

I originally wanted to make one, although I couldn't see a good way to show it. It seems more like they were just randomly connected to each other.

Glad you guys like it. SMILEY

I have a easy read email guide that I use, I have only tried it from Shinjuku though, I am unsure if the directions are the same if you go into another door....

To get out of the maze I used to just use good old /suicide, but I think I may walk out now SMILEY

Loading times are a factor for me at the moment so personally I prefer HJ'ing to the nearest HL and porting the the HL nearest to my location and HJ from there.

But guides are good and if it's quicker to get around for some people then its all good and a great alternative transit style!

H'mm. This information is moderately sexy.

*Dreams up a nice Web-based system of mapping routes to a particular hallway based on someone's current location. Wishes he had the time to do that.*

I might see later this week if I can come up with some sort of map, but after seeing Rarebit's little thing...ugh! SMILEY

EDIT: I'm not quite sure if my list of items corresponding to their Square Rooms is correct, although I do have them all there now. I think Avalod might have a couple incorrect routes in his guide, or some that are too long, because the routes in his original posts didn't all work out for me off the table. The posts after his did have the correct ones, though.
