Who drops these, again?  Only 3-chevron level 51's in missions?  What about, say, level 52 or 53 SSR guards?  Whats the scoop, and any tips would be appreciated!  I'm wanting to score me some of these.

I've found through experimentation that there is a chance to drop Level 50 guns if you are Level 50 from any Level 50 NPC and up. The chance increases based on the chevron of the NPC and the level of the NPC.

Well I wanted to report that I did 60 missions for a org clothing reward, including the Bag of Crap that is known as the Unlimit Saga (specifically for all of the 3 chevron Unlimts), and I only got 2 of the new guns total, the better one being the Dual 717's with stun.  Drop rates seem still pretty bad to me.

Also, related but this can apply to other things, anything you kill over 52, say; be they SSR Guards, Elite Commandos, Corruptors, Datamine spawns etc. tend to drop a lot of wack, useless gear, like level 25 unbuffed guns, 600 info, etc., apart from the goodies they were made to drop.

I think the '52 and over' crowd has scaling problems.  I'd really be surprised if a level 53, for example, would actually drop one of the new 50 guns.

Most of the guns that have dropped, have dropped from Captain Raeder's guards, which are Level 53.
