The plague of Sleepwalkers is over. Warriors, tell me your stories of battle against the "Security" guards at the concert sites. From what I have heard, they were worthy, if sometimes strange, opponents.

Seraph,

The Sleepwalkers were a worthy foe, well some of them..   They always came in numbers, and many times outnumbered us 3 to 1... Sometimes I could easily take all of them, and then some especially at the concert sites could wipe all of us out in just a matter of seconds, in the end it took many of us to take them down... but sometimes their numbers got the best of us...  The real worthy opponents were the security guards protecting the lights, especially Ms. Finch, I don't know what her story is, but she put a fight up like I've never seen before... I would be interested in learning more about the security guards.  We were victorious, but I have a feeling there is more to this story than is being led on, as Wadsworth has not been accounted for, nor heard from...   Other rumors are flying as well, the battle, it seems, has just begun.

like bling said........they outnumbered us 3 to 1, on vector we were fighting Ms.Osborn alot, she would use her searchlight ability to kill us all but a couple of times her attack managed to leave a few of us left adn we swarmed her knocking her to her feet several times....not really much else for me to say except its to bad you weren't there seraph.

Hello Seraph,

Yes it is over, and the battles were indeed interesting, we had many different levels of sleepers attacking us. Some I was capable of taking down myself while also trying to de-activate the lights. The stribger Sleepers required help from other operatives, but we were succesful in eliminating them. The biggest challanges came from the security guards who were re-activating/protecting the search lights. I had many battles with Ms Tucker and her collegues, but at the end we were sucessful in containing them and achieving the task in hand.

They were indeed good fighters, but no match to the determination of the Zion opertives or the Fallen Horizon members who defied there attacks and achieved what we set out to do, eliminate the threat.

The Sleepwalkers particularly liked attacking me while I was coding new abilites and clothing. I still handled up on them quite nicely with my coder abilities loaded. Didn't die once throughout the entire fiasco. Now I just need to test my meddle against you Seraph. Give the Oracle my regards......

Hello Seraph,

The Sleepwalkers are powerful, I admit.  We all believed that the heart of their attack rested in the presence of the security guards and the searchlight they guarded.  I spent hours hunting down them and bringing them to their knees, I was able to defeat Ms Osburn once and Ms Walls twice, I also contributed to the downfall of the deadly Mr Meters.  I considered myself a worthy contributor to our combined efforts.

Seraph these security guards had tactics like hyper jumping, disappearing, and I think in a way they aided the sleepwalkers to their goal, by turning on these hacked lights. They had in-human properties, and faught past your standard. (i am sorry to say that my master). If you can find one of these security guards, tell them that redpills will get stronger and we will ultimately destroy them

I posted this elsewhere, but I feel it fits in here too.

When I first met Mr. Quimby, I was rather rude towards him. Not because that's the type of person I am, but because I was becoming annoyed by the Sleepwalker ambushes, and considering the Sleepwalkers and the concerts appeared at the same time, the Security guards were on my suspect list.

When my suspicions were proved correct, I seeked him out on the Sleepwalker battlefields during the climax and engaged him.

Romav: Where's... Quimby...
Romav: I have a bone to pick with Quimby.
Romav: We meet again
Mr. Quimby shouts>: You will never turn off the Sleepwalker attacks Romav!

He appeared to be weakening, and it almost seemed like he was about to collapse, when suddenly he acted as though I hadn't even touched him yet. Eventually, after a reasonably long fight, Quimby got the best of me.

Romav: You may have defeated me Quimby... but your plot will fail.
Mr. Quimby shouts>: Follow Romav's quick path to sleep!

From there a ton of other operatives swarmed him, and eventually after many other operatives fell, Mr. Quimby was defeated. This one time, anyhow.

Although he defeated me, I got quite a lot of good kicks in.  I'm proud to have done my part in helping defeat the Sleepwalker menace.

It began, I believe, with a beautiful sunset. Much like Sati's work only... Different. You must have seen it for yourself, Seraph; the blue skies and clouds like the frontline of a battalion of angels. With the night came eeriely the darkness of the Real World... It was not long before I found myself tracked by the men and women called Sleepwalkers.

Like your fight against your old enemies, the imposter Seraphim, most of us humans stared into the faces of our brothers and sisters... Brothers and sisters no more.

I escaped with my life countless numbers of times as I searched the Matrix for their purpose and a way to stop them. They were linked with the concert, yes, that much everyone knew. It was not until Wadsworth's speech that it became as clear as the brilliant, blinding blue that appeared as the Thanatos Spotlights flashed to life. They wanted humanity back within the pods, as sleepers, as prisoners, at any cost.

We were beset on all sides by the Sleepwalkers; it was an open war at each of the eight sites, in a sense. Greater battles I have seen not. The word 'epic' comes to mind.

I remember now the 'Security' you speak of. They were as mysterious as the source of the Sleepwalkers; first seemingly like ordinary Bluepills. Then they rose from the chaos, totally warped in their personas, wearing masks.

You should know by now that the Thanatos Spotlights caused much stress to the System although they were the tool of the Sleepwalkers, or so they claimed, which would have somehow gotten us all reinserted. We worked quickly to shut down the Spotlights, however it became apparent that the Security had means to repair them much faster...

I'm not the greatest when it comes to technology, real or not, so I let others do the work in shutting the infernal lights off. I focused on the Security, who spoke like the fabled Cypherite Extremists we've all been wondering about. While I never surrendered and kept assaulting them time after time, they fought as though possessed by demons. I could not overcome them physically, so to speak.

My greatest victories over them came not by fighting them with my fists, but with my mind, Seraph. It is probable that they faultered in their attacks mainly because we believed in something high and more powerful than their dream.

Nevertheless, in cooperation with the Machines, we prevailed against the Sleepwalkers and the "Security" team. Afterwards, these powerful fighters seemed to revert back to normal... As if the ghost fled from them.

Strange indeed, Guardian. Next time I hope we meet, side by side, in battle. Just like old times.

I not being the best martial opponent kept myself busy patching and upgrading my fellow red-pills RSI's,I helped take down about 10-15 of the blue lights 5 or so by myself thanks to my mighty evade shield and of course the help of my crew, faction and red-pills of all allegiance's.Then there was Security while I encountered a few early in the day, they would just shoot me to the point of having to re-boot my RSI if they caught me messing with there blue lights, Then towards the end of the day I decided to stick around tabor park where a lot of Zion well knowns were as well as a pretty big crowd shortly there after Ms.Tucker made her presence know she wiped the floor with most of us one on one until we started to group on her (I believe the tactic is called the Zion Zerg)once we started teaming up on her,she finally started to go down but not with out a hell of a fight, and of course any time I got nearby to patch or restore a damaged RSI she would gun me down in 1 or 2 shots max with a volley from her dueling pistols, Finally with the help of a mix of high and low neuro-kinetic level red-pills(I got 1 or 2 shots/punches/hacks in on her) we took her down. Oddly after her RSI teleported away it returned on foot to Tabor park and she seemed to have no memory of the events that traspired and her neuro-kinetic level had dropped to that of a blue-pill.

Well, it was pretty much like any other day with the sleepers, until the security came trying to thwart our efforts of killing off the sleepwalkers.  The lackies were easy to take down; I could handle 5 of them on my own, but when the security came all that changed.  I was able to get to 4 or 5 of the spotlights and shut them down, but I was hurt bad before I could make my escape.  I was in Eshean park trying to bring down one of the spotlights and I was successful, however one of the securities damaged me to the point where I couldnt stand another blow, but was able to escape before I took that final shot that would've certainly taken me down.

I tell a tale of a tragic begining and a happy end, but if you must have a title then you may call it,

Grugde Match :

The battle of Grace of Darkness and Mr. McNeal

I fought like anyone else in hope of ridding the Matrix of the Sleepwalkers, I  fought as usual in the begining, until I saw... him. I pondered to myself, who is this man, he seemed affiliated with no one perhaps even neutral. I looked around and it seemed that the other red pills were oblivious to the man being, I waited then decided he must be a threat. I supposed the security t-shirt and hat gave it away, but I wasn't thinking about that at the time. I walk up to him, and he say three words to me "Sleep or Die", so I attack, next thing I know he is yelling "LIGHTS OUT!". I find myself on the ground unable to move my RSI, I realize I have lost the battle, so I reconstruct, and go to face him again, this time I think I am ready, I believe I can take him. No I can't, I find my RSI defeated again. I come a third time and it seem the other red pills have finally noticed him, they are attacking him full force, I just in to help. He finally falls screaming " The dream is not defeated so easily!", then he dissapears. Feeling victorios I move to the next site, I am ambushed by three Sleepwalkers as I make my way to one of the spotlights, as I am about to finish off my last about I begin taking heavy gun fire out of nowhere, I look around to see who the attacker is and I find that Mr. McNeal has returned. "Sleep or Die, its your choice" he tells me as he walks past my lifeless RSI, now I am furious, I return to find him again. He is across the field taunting other red pills with his non sense, I yell out " **** YOU MCNEAL", he only replies, "That sort of language is not in the dream". I tell him "Bah, forget your dream", I attack once again with the help of others, again he falls yelling " Aaaaarggghh, I cannot be so easily defeated!", and just like that he's gone again. I decided that maybe, just maybe that was that last I had seen of Mr. McNeal, but oh no it was not my lucky day. I stumble upon him as I am fighting in Murasaki, I decided the first attack would be mine this time, so I pounce him screaming out " Surprise!, we meet again". I kick him in the head and he falls to the ground, he swiflty picks himself up and calmly says, "And again you shall fall", the next thing I know I am on the ground, "**bleep** you", I sneered, he just walks away. I return once more, but find he is in battle with another red pill, I decide this is my chance to cut off his power. Before I take two steps, he drops combat with his opponent and commences running after me " The dream will not end!", he hit me hard with his gun fire, but I escape. I run to regain health, I am thinking to myself, 'that guy is totally nuts', I dust myself off and return to the battle field. this time other red pills have joined in the fight against McNeal, I jump in and try to slow down his tactics, suddenly out of nowhere a burst of red light stikes him in the chest and he falls to the ground."The dream is forever it cannot die", the other red pills begin yelling and taunting him " You will go to sleep". He dissapears, but I do not find him again, I become sort of relieved but depressed at the same time, I found him a worthy opponent one I would not mind fighting once more.

(GoD out)

Pssh, these "Security" forces weren't that tough...only took 30 of us to take one down...*Tosses knife in the air and catches it*

They seemed to have a power within the Matrix granted to them by the spotlights. Not only did it allow them to pull of extremely power -- and at the same time: Strange moves. But it also made us weak. However, it was not enough to stop the combined efforts of the redpills within the Matrix. And for that, we must take pride in, so let them come...let them all come, we'll show 'em up again.

As the city-wide battle reached it's climax, the Security Personnel became noticeably more desperate to keep the Lights activated, to the point of ignoring Redpills attacking them and rushing straight to them. Ms. Walls interrupted.

Near the end, I proceeded to Kaede because I heard that it was empty, hence less...cluttered. Of course, Mr. Meters must've realized the same thing and was there when I arrived, desperately trying to reactivate the Lights. I rushed him immediately, but he was more than twice as strong as I. Needless to say, reinforcements were called, as the Architect began his final plans to reverse the Lights.

After the Lights were reversed, Mr. Meters RETURNED....but without all memory of what happened, and he told us that the concert was canceled. As we conversed, it became apparent he was a Bluepill....and a sufferable one, at that. He clearly despises his job, now.
