Well I for one can tell you there were plenty and I mean plenty of EPNers who wanted Zion to keep the Truce while it existed, recognizing that it was better for safety's sake. I was not one of them. Looking back I'd say that was a mistake, had a lot of debates on that point too.

20/20 hindsight and all that aside, for the record it's worth pointing out that previous to the War's beginning the Machines possessed a number of Redpills against their will, and the Truce was only broken by Machines who decided Zion was not allowed to secure a safer position. Their desire to control is self-evident, and maybe it's justified, but even extending reason to the furthest reaches I have no idea how EPN is responsible for the Machines deciding New Zion was over the proverbial "line". EPN didn't even know it existed.

Tytanya, you do know that the Matrix isn't real, right? That it is a fabricated simualtion, a make-believe world where the Machines force-feed people the very lives they live? I'm sure that sometime after your Awakening, you were told that. . .
