You'd have to ask Customer Service about that. I suspect the answer is "No." Let me know what they say if you ask them, though.

Fixed. It doesnt cost anything to replace an OS.

So you can get XP for free? Or do Vista users have the option of a free downgrade?

so its ok to have a update that only benefits those using vista. may as well i mean we've already alienated those who were playing just for the storyline and live events so why not release an update for a small section of people who cant be bothered to either dual boot or jiust uninstall vista and put xp on. i for one run 3 os's for varied tasks and atm im also trialing windows 7 as well, i understand that there are problems with vista andmxo but i think it would be more beneficial if more work was to go into progression of the story. case in point rarebit you seemed to have some time to jackin to test out vista bugs why not have thrown a mini live event instead.

Again, lets not forget that it isn't just hardcore gamers who play. Dual booting or having to uninstall an OS and install a different one just to play a an old game which is already 'on life support' as you put it is rediculous when some of the issues may simply be fixed by looking into texture maps and lighting speculation and adjusting them. Besides, how do you know most of the time was taken up by the Vista issues? Because Rarebit posted a few images? Also, Lol at the idea that an update will be released only to benefit Vista users. But sure, lets forget about the vista issues and alienate those who do play with it, they obviously don't think gaming is serious business.

Yes, because of that. Rarebit gets so giddy about his new content he always posts teasers of it. So far nothing but crappy Vista!

no image retrievals, no dev screen shots other than the vista bug shots, no org meetings this month, patch delayed by 2 weeks given its because of xmas but yeah ok. all the usual things that show what rarebit is working on to keep us all subscibing every month. This month there has been nothing.

Good thing then that to offset his holiday time off (how dare he have time off), he has extra time in which to add a little something for the non vista sufferers?

As amusing as this argument may be, it isn't going anywhere. I am determined to fix the Vista issues, because like it or not, where Microsoft's OSs go is where a large portion of potential customers go, and as it is now, as soon as someone finds the "wrong" type of shiny new clothing for their character, the game becomes unplayable for them unless they have the perseverence to figure out how to avoid it--and they shouldn't have to do that.
