Should I dump everything into perception (or does that just affect damage dealt)?  What about MCT buffs?

Perception only raises by 1 MCT every 10 points. One way to raise your rolls is to use a tactic booster, but those are consumables, and last 5 minutes. There are a few MCT raising clothes, but as far as I know, not many of them.

and lose consistent technique, it caps ur rolls by about 20pts i think
>_< AND if u wanna make the opponent staggered/off-balance/dazed
DONT USE or DO GET RID OF precise blows as this stops u getting ur
opponents in any kind of state needed for some of the better MA special
moves

Let me tell you something: NEVER even your attrributes. you might as
well flush them down the metaphorical toilet. thats what I did before
the merge and I was dancing for joy when we got the attribute hack. If
you plan to use a variety of classes your best bet is to dump it all
into belief and vitailty so you have enough damage resistance and
health to make up for your lack of reason, perception and focus.

but I dumped it all into focus and I still own as MA and hacker so its really not that important.

To make a good MA you want to raise your Perception to at least a +6
MCT bonus, and dump the rest into Belief.  After careful study
I've seen that people with a high perception and a medium high belief
are much harder to defeat in interlock then someone with just a high
perception.

EDIT - Keep Consistent Technique loaded till around level 20-25.

Many people have +9 Melee Combat Tactic pants. I recommend that you have someone make a pair. Almost every level 50 MA has a pair, so if you are in a faction with a few level 50's, get hooked up. There are male and female versions and they are probably the most useful pair of pants in the game for MA.

Whoa. +6 MCT points just by perception? I'm getting by with about 3 extra points.  If you don't have one or are not at a sufficient level, get yourself a nice Direwolf Skin (350pts max health 60% health regen +9 belief) and a nice Troll's hide (+9 everything). That belief, perception, and Heath Regen in a nice little package. Only bad part is that it might cost you a few (as in 20-30) million $info to get them.

I just dump it all into percep but the best cothes you can get are the

+9 CMT pants,

+3 percep coruupt hands

+5 percep shirt (I've forgotten what it's called but it's green and it upgrades all yer attributes by 5

and I'm sure theres a pair of boots out there that do percep but I'm not to sure bout that.

The corrupt hands are the worst drop from that hideout, You really want
the +5 perception Fighters Gloves. The +5 Perception shirt is Dark
Forest shirt, Again this is the worst drop from that hideout and you
would be better trying to get the +9 Trollshide. and the +5/+9 is on
all attributes not just perception.

And the shoes you are thinking of are surefoot, steady and solid sneakers giving you +3, +4 or +5 perception.

The Gloves are from the Uriah Hideout (Boss is level 9)

The Shirts are from Creston Museum Hideout (Boss is level 52)

THe shoes are from any Casion Hideout(Boss is lvl 11/12-i cant remember)

Happy Hunting
