This is a modification to your useropts.cfg game option file to achieve a wacky visual effect. For more about the useropts.cfg file, see here.
This option is unsupported. Use at your own risk.
The useropts line is
wr_envdaylength = 3600
At least I think that's the default. The number is the number of seconds a day lasts. If you lower it to, say, 20, you'll see the sun and moon racing through the sky, ambient light changing, your shadow racing circles around you, and so forth. Like what happened at the end of beta, if you were around for that.
Conversely, raising the number slows the weather's time down. So if, for instance, you logged in to the game and found it that nice blue day we get once a game-time week, you could log out, jack up the number (I usually just hold 9 for a while, ie 99999999999999999999999), and then go back in and enjoy the weather for as long as you wanted, until you jacked out again.
This will, of course, get your weather out of sync with everyone else's. The weather will resync every time you rejoin the server.

This one was in autoexec or options, so some people know about it... :0 Nevertheless, I'm sure others don't. These kinds of topics are what I like to see! Keep up the good work Rarebit

ahh, thats what I was wandering when I started reading this. Because I think it would have been bad if everyone's day/night rotation was off, then that would kill RP! heh, but since it sync's up its great because we can have control over night/day so that we can have our movie shoots last longer without breaks for the lighting change...this helps sooooooooo much!!!!!
Is there a way to pick if its raining or not? cause that would help a ton as well!

in the autoexec.cfg I see these:
CombatText_Enable = 1 *does this take off the damage and text on players? if so this would be nice...
Client_RenderThrottle_Override = 1 *what does this do?

I was able to make the same moon rising video during the halloween event, but it was a HUGE file after it was taken. But this would make it 100x easier .

For some reason it isn't working for me. I put the day cycle number to 2 from 3000 and it still is not working.

God in Heaven... Rarebit you need a raise!!!!! Whatever they are paying this man is far from enough... You know how crazy it is to try and time things so the lighting is right... I mean come on the lighting even inside the building changes with the time of day and weather conditions outside. You can see lightning flashes inside buildlings. And no Q I didn't use that for the Halloween video That was me sitting there Fraps'n the time and shrinking down in edit... It'll be much easier now
