Good job everyone, Yup even though machines had the numbers, and the Accellerated programs, a handful of mervs took the win. Its not how many you have, its how well you use them. Oh and thanks Rare for putting the Region server back, I thought it was kinda weird not having a flag up on the roof when the event started.
Well done Endo, group effort though!
Grats to Hitmanben for taking down Pace, ambushed is certainly the word. Doing the job while Mechs were fighting against Ghost and his Zion healers which certainly slowed things up for the move to Ookami.
Of course Zionites hindered the Mech effort on Ookami after Ghost was taken down, but who can blame 'em eh?
Zion started off strong with a zerg on the rooftop before the Main characters showed up causing Mech and Merv forces to take and hold the Elevator and Stairwells to the roof. When Pace, Ookami and Ghost did show up, all bets were off.
HAIL to all the Braves !
It was very fun!!!!
Tomorrow brings the final battle. Thing will be hostile.

I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you... :: Said with a teasing laugh:: Part of the reason is, Segur is quite a distance from the Machine City and the patrols don't always come out this far, though that's getting a bit dodgy since there's been increased activity in a fetal field about two hundred miles from us.
((Sorry if I went off half-loaded there, I've been having yet another rough week due to problems with a malfunctioning website.))
Im impressed Syntax Mervs decided to show up.

When it came down to it there was about how many, 7-10 Mervs that took the win.
I'm rather entertained by the Mervs who seem to think their attendance was relevant.

I thought it was unusual, Lag is so funny sometimes. You get stuck in buildings, go under the roads and even turn into pigeons.

Good thing Ookami went non-hostile shortly after, with the amount of Mechs around her she wouldn't have lasted much longer!

Ya, Zion got accused of it on Recursion, so what was the reason machines didnt get the win on syntax? Skill. Nuff said.
(( That certainly was an exciting evening, even if the ending didn't quite play out as I would have hoped. To be as utterly dominated as we were at the beginning and then scrape out a larger and larger piece of the roof until we had downed Ghost was exhilerating. Then to have a push on Ookami while poor Pace was left lost in the shuffle... I couldn't believe it when I did finally find Pace. Poor girl was surrounded by 7 or 8 attackers in close range (and probably others I didn't see) while I futilely did what I could to save her while reinforcements arrived.. sadly, not much I could do by myself and by the time I got back to the roof after reconning with patcher all loaded, Pace was already down. I'm not sure if that was part of a Merv plan or not, but it was certainly well played on all sides.
Heh.. you've got someone who doesn't really care much for PvP hoping we get something like that to happen again.. with different results of course. ))
