Phone call between two unknown people stolen from the Police Department in Baldwin Downtown.
Voice 1: You know what....you know what disturbs me? You don't sound like a stupid person but
You represent a . . . a . . . a . . . lack of morality that disturbs me greatly. You really do. I think you represent a certain way of thinking that is morally bankrupt. What you have done can't be sorted out in a peaceful way. ...you killed them for your own purpose. You don't give a d*mn about innocent lives.
Voice 2: Whatever my contribution is to this world, the virus is designed to flip enough genetic switches so that the result of this virus will be pure chaos. Perhaps, if anyone survives the onslaught, a new society may emerge years down the line. Is that not what we all want?
Voice1: No...nooo...I don't want to see people die...YOU never told me anything about this...a.a..about the virus you were creating. It's not...
Voice 2: ...Perhaps today, more than any other, we truly stand united, one in common purpose, and common destiny. It was not too long ago that we formally united...but that unity was one on paper, one in theory. Today, we become one in heart. You see, today we embark on our next great journey. We stand on the threshold of entering a community larger than any we have ever imagined, a community which will dwarf any lines of division that have ever marked us.
Voice 2: You must realize the company has given you plenty of opportunity to prove yourself. They had such high hopes for you and needed so badly for you to succeed.
Voice 1: I'm sorry to disappoint them.
Voice 2: No you're not. You've fought against them every step of the way and you can't even begin to understand the damage you've cost. But the fact remains that this isn't your first infraction against company policy and I would think we've given you more than your fair share of second chances.
Voice 1: I've discovered a few things since I've been here. That you are hiding something. That the entire company has some big secret holed up in this building and you are purposely keeping it from the rest of us.
Voice2: Your imagination seems to have gotten the better of you.
Voice1: Two years I've been running the phones and gathering data off the internet, all day, every day.
What do I get for my effort? I know who you are...you are S..
Voice2: Your death....
