System Commands Command Usage Description
  • /addblip
/addblip "blipname"Adds a small red icon on your map with the name you choose at your current location
  • /addwaypoint
/addwaypoint (target) (name)Adds a waypoint to your target or name you specify. (Can only be used on friendly characters.)
  • /area
/area allows u to speak in area chat whilst in ie: faction chat
  • /assist
/assist Does not work.
  • /attack
/attack (target)Attempts to Interlock selected target.
  • /autoignore
/autoignoreAuto ignores incoming tells.
  • /bits
/bits Lists the individual amounts of bits you have in your loading area.
  • /browse
/browse Does not work.
  • /bug
/bug Opens the Customer Care screen with the "bug" option selected.
  • /ca
/ca (name)Adds (name) to your friend list.
  • /cancel
/cancel Cancels the currently running macro.
  • /cc
/cc Allows you to type in crew chat (provided you are in a crew).
  • /ccr
/ccr Opens the Customer Care screen.
  • /claim
/claim Will download any available rewards to your RSI's inventory.
  • /clearblips
/clearblips Clears all blips created with /addblips.
  • /clearwaypoints
/clearwaypoint Clears all currently running waypoints.
  • /codestructs
/codestructs Lists all the Ability Codes you can craft.
  • /copychar
/copychar Copies your character to the external Test Server (does not work yet).
  • /cr
/cr Does not work.
  • /delve
/delve Does not work.
  • /disband
/disband Disbands your mission team. You must be the team leader in order for this to work.
  • /drop
/drop Does not work.

/duel (target)Sends a request to your target for a duel. This can only be used on friendlies.

/exit Quits the game.

Great list! But one thing... /area does work, it's the shortcut to use Area chat if you switched your chat window to another channel.

/s  /say and /area are all for chatting in the area channel

With 'classic chat mode' unselected in the chat options/options window, the /area and /say commands will not change the chat channel to area while the /s command will change the chat channel to area in the same way /fc and /cc will change the channels to faction and crew.

That's the only difference I can find. If you use classic chat mode, the channels will never change when you chat in a channel you are not currently in. I'm still not sure what the modal chat mode does. I thought it would always change the chat channel to whatever channel you used but it doesn't do anything different than not having it checked if classic mode is not checked either.
