Looks interesting.
Hope you have fun at the Fan Faire Walrus, although MxO users aren't able to register for it at the moment. :p
Shame there isn't one held closer to the UK (hint hint ), but perhaps when I'm no longer a pennyless student and get a job I'll be able to attend one in the future.
And CR2.0 major lockdown? Does that mean you've set a new target date that is likely to be the actual completion date and do we get to know it? :p
And nice to see an artical I can read in between doing things and not just as I'm about to go to bed or have to wait till the morning for.

When will we be able to register for the Fan Faire?
BUT I'm very glad to hear that CU2.0 is nearly out the door. I wouldn't mind at all if you delayed update 42 one week to squeeze CU2.0 in.
I can't wait for more content!!

Hmm...interesting. I'll ask what MxO folks should do. It may be as simple as putting in fake information, but I'll check and make sure. Should have an answer on Monday.

Given that the CR is supposedly in it's tweaking stage, I do hope the devs continue to listen to player feedback on the CR, as two of the biggest complaints about it are still lingering (namely the "missing" combat UI that hurts the tactile feel of combat and the endless need to click stuff just to keep your proper "buffs" active). Hearing about the dev drop in was pretty cool though, and knowing that they are actually watching (and hopefully listening) is nice to hear.

Well i am glad to hear CR2.0 is near completion can't wait for it to go live. However i do have one question about when it goes live: Will the attribute hack stay with an increased price or will it come with every major update or will it go?

Yay, CR2.0 going live is a great thought, and personally I dont see why people are so upset about the missing combat UI. I think the new combat system is much better, save the odd bug here and there.
Just wondering about attribute hacks.. mabye cheap hacks for a week after CR2.0 goes live, that delete themselves when the week is over? Then mabye expensive attribute hacks afterwards, just incase?
Sorry, and going off topic now, but I'm glad CR2.0 is going live, well done dev's! :smileyhappy:

I have to be honest, I was a little un-impressed this week. Maybe it's because I want to avoid CR2.0 (I'm saving it for the Live server, thank you very much) (though I still read it), or maybe because it was just short, I just felt it wasn't really 'on the other side', but just another community update. Ah well, I'm sure next week's will be better, and I don't mean to sound harsh.

So when is SOE going to do something for MxO? Like.. for example... shipping out more gamecards? Clearly they have little intention of promoting MxO or supporting it outside of paying the Devs wages and operating costs from what I've seen so far. Yeah yeah yeah... that's not your department. I've tried other avenues but nobody at SOE will give me a straight answer. Four months ago I was told by customer service reps that they would be shipping gamecards soon... HA. What a joke. I have none left now. Stockpile gone. Have fun at the Fan faire. Hope I'm still able to play this game in a month and a bit ...

I am concerned by the term feature lockdown, More urgent than balancing and bug fixing CR2 needs a revision of the UI and a streamlining of the combat process.... a majority of those contributing on the CR2.0 forums are asking for attention here and in any event in order to avoid a repeat of the alientation felt by players when cr2.0 hit QA we need a manner to win over the majority of the players.
