When i try to go into the game when it gets to the "Starting World..." part it just stays there, i can still move my green mouse around but no matter how long i leave it[i've left it for over 30 minutes] it just stays there and i have to force quit the game.

I've run full system checks. I'm not behind a router and I am using Vista.

i'd post my dxdiag is you truely need it but i know nothing in there is going to solve this problem

I solved your problem SMILEY

I'd post yer DxDiag and system info just so we can run through it, it may take 3-4 posts just incase you didn't know but it'll help with trying to find the problem, unless Jeffers or Phi already know whats the problem.

is there an easier way to display my dxdiag because trying to copy and paste this large block of text is ridiculous

Ideally we need the dxdiag info and the MSInfo posts.

Additionally, could you post you network info as requested in the thread at the top of the forum as well?

Also you mention your not behind a router, how about a firewall?
