A lower fee or free to play would be amazing. Older players would come back, new ones would try it out.

Just a pity SoE will never do it

To be fair, it should be free, and then they should charge you for stuff like Changing your handle, or Transfering Servers, or Transfering info across servers, Then they'd still make money but have a lot of players also, like what are they spending the money on now i'd love to know....

This.

And if it were to ever drop in price other SOE Game Players will complain about there selected MMO's and possibly the station pass if you feel the game isnt worth the $15 just unsubscribe.

I think their spending the money on Virrago and 9mm, don't get me wrong though those 2 do A good job with what they have to work wih but it still should be 1/2 price since we lost 1/2 the fun. (or is it more then 1/2..hmm)

You havent lost anything, you're just no longer gaining anything.

Just like a good gambler learn to walk away.

Good point you got there Endo.  " anyone with a station pass would complain".  I never thought of that issue.

In these economic times, more than ever, wouldn't it be better to lower the price in order to make the game more affordable to people?

I'm always on Syn (even though I got another 50 =) ) but I'm never bored on Vector honestly.. if the pvp goes into a halt I search for new players or I run a contact mission (I have saved those for times where it's dull but stil haven't done like.. half of them)... and then I just ... are there SMILEY and new players do take a lot of time to help so that's what's nice to do. Then there's some rp to catch up on or some char that looks interesting then I ask about who they are and what they thought of the char and some such.. maybe I do a short event (if it isn't ganked SMILEY) it's about being creative, granted. We don't get spoonfed events anymore but that's not to say there's nothing to do.

I still have no motivation to level up another character, let alone one on Vector

You shouldn't use economy as an excuse, Virrago.  Especially when in these 'hard economic times', videogame and MMO sales are actually on the rise.  If SOE's not getting a piece of that pie, then maybe SOE needs to sit back and wonder why.  Poor treatment of small communities can still have a large impact on your overall success.

Good point about the possible disruption caused by the other games, however the latter part of your sentence (in bold), quite frankly I personally find to be extremely obnoxious.  With all due respect it strikes me as the equivalent of flipping everyone the middle finger and yelling at us to Sierra Tango Foxtrot Uniform everytime someone posts something that is not 100% positive or complimentary about MxO/SOE.  But thats just my opinion.  "Love it or leave it."  Umm no...there's a vast middle ground between being needlessly and destructively negative and being a blind unquestioning total loyalist no matter what.

I'm not using it as an excuse...I'm just stating that I personally see very very very little chance of any price changes to the subscription fee.

Then we are back to requesting more than zero percent future content/development.

What can we do to move forward on this?  Help us help you!

We're all in this together, Virrago
